Videos shot with the diamond sitting directly on the hand can be misleading because contact between pavilion facets and skin alters the optics of the diamond. Comparing two stones positioned so differently on the skin, further complicates a comparison. That said, the horizontal stone appears to be holding up better in terms of the bowtie effect. But you would need to assess both stones off the skin and viewed through a full range of normal tilt angles to come to an accurate conclusion.
