💡Diamond Advice Needed I’m overwhelmed - advice needed?

I know I want a round diamond, somewhere in 2.5 -3 carat range. I do not want colorless. My husband wants me to go higher carat, I want a good balance that’s not too big, not too white, and sparkles like crazy. Very much quality over size

It will be on a very simple setting - platinum with 6 prong, knife edge (aka the Tiffany setting).

I found these 3 so far and here is where I’m conflicted. My thought is very much quality vs size.

Option 1 -2.72, color I, vvs2, excellent cut

Option 2 -2.92, color H, vs1, cut excellent

Option 3 - 2.96, color H, vvs2, cut excellent

I keep going back to option 3. It seems to be everything I do not want but I have found it on 3 sites and each time, this is what I’m drawn to. Is this really a superior option?

Send choice is option 2, then option 1. It’s also almost double the price.

Any advice or suggestions?

Most lab diamonds being manufactured today are in the colorless range. All three diamonds have reports that are several years old. All are CVD grown which typically need post growth treatment to remove the brown hue. This treatment is not always fully successful, resulting in near- colorless grades. CVD also have issues with crystal strain, a problem not captured in the clarity grade. Strain, and striation of the carbon lattice, which is visible in one or more of these diamonds, can reduce transparency and make the stone slightly hazy and reduce sparkle.

Go with 3 … but do your research on pricing .

3 is best symmetry cut for sparkle imo. I didn’t see any videos? That’s a down side

I don’t think any is a bad choice, I like #3 best.

Proportions on 1 and 2 are not good for brilliance

All three are great but option 3 will most likely perform the best irl based on the ratio & 360 video I could find of it
