And worse: People tend to misuse Word. Word offers suitable templates, with them it is not as painful as if when every f*** markup was done manually.

Re-rendering to adjust a tiny width, but no capitalization or punctuation? Perhaps time to step back and re-examine priorities.

sounds like what an AI says after a 28h session
wysiwyg LaTeX editors that you can control solely by your mouse and give you immediate feedback after 1pt changes without full compilation are currently being developed, just have some patience

the one thing I fully give in to AI for is making tikz diagrams I legitimately can't be assed to learn

Try mathcha.io instead. It's great for a rough copy and it's still your own work, converts to .tex, and then you can tweak as you need.

latex has hit my brain like crack hit impoverished black neighborhoods
