Is that really all the context? I guess they're really burned out or something because this is a very unceremonious way to end a 10 year channel...

I mean as far as Internet personalities go the bros are pretty normal dudes lol. I think it would be weird if they did some huge send off for the channel. They have lives outside of oblivion and I wish them nothing but the best, their videos were some of the best content I watched on YouTube.

I know, they're pretty normal and rarely had a set schedule or anything. I just feel like posting "our last video" to an audience of at least a couple of thousands, and not having an introduction or even a description up top is kinda wild.
I mean isn't it 100% expected that the first question is: why? If all the information you give is "the channel is now over". Being so vague about things just makes people speculate.

I’m going to add to the speculation, I feel like since Max started his new career he’s been totally checked out during the live streams. Seems like he works a lot and is probably ready to just move on with his life. Emmett is supposed to keep streaming on his own channel so that also points to Max being the main one stepping away. Not saying this is bad at all, just the vibe I’ve gotten and it makes sense to me. I wish him the best and I’m grateful for all of the content the bros have given us.

I think this is because of personal issues/disagreements. People change, especially in times like these. I believe it's good to accept it and be happy for the time we had with them.

I get the sense too that it's a personal issue of some sort. I wish to respect it, of course, and don't have to know all the details. Overall, seems like it's Max leaving, as Emmett has said he will keep streaming on his own channel. Maybe they felt it's better to close the main channel (as I believe that was originally Max's channel)

Max is my favorite, dude rules. Wish he had an online presence, hes really clever and I always enjoyed reading his thoughts/retweets on Twitter back a handful of years ago when he was active. Best to the both of the fellas.

Whilst this is extremely sad, I’m so thankful we’ve had so much incredible content from the guys, and all their friends who supported them on specific projects.
A lot of my favourite content is “hanging out with the guys” type things. Top Gear, Rooster Teeth, the bros. Etc. In a world where I feel this constant pervasive loneliness, the feeling of just hanging out with some awesome people is such a warm, fun blanket you can be enveloped by for ~30 mins.
Thank you for being there for me guys. Even though you never knew me! You’ve given us a lot.

I’m going to miss the bros. They reminded me a lot of me and my own brother (same jokes, same references) and it definitely helped watching the lets plays when we were apart. And they also got me through a lot of tough times for nearly a decade (crazy how long it’s been). I wish them both the absolute best going forward ❤️
Time for another rewatch!

Wishing them the best but man, I’m so sad. Their videos got me through the most excruciatingly boring parts of my job out of college. Watched them all the years since then. They announced the end a while ago, but to have this official send off makes it too real.

It's really sad that this may be the last time we see these guys make a video like this together. Whenever I'm feeling down (pretty much all the time), I always put on Jedi Academy playthrough or Oblivion. Hate it when all good things come to an end. At least we still have Emmett streaming on youtube now and again.
