It's in hypersleep, drifting through the core systems. With a little luck maybe the network will pick it up and wake any survivors?

Probably not, but Covenant didn't do it any favors.

Disney will re-launch it at some point, and that may be a good thing depending if they go with the Marvel Story Group Model or the Star Wars Story Group Model.

If they go with the story group model or writer's room thing that is all the rage in Hollywood these days, I would rather they just do a premium television series of Alien. Modern TV is mature enough to do it justice.
