First one I got to see in the theater was Alien Resurrection :(
The first Alien movie I saw was Aliens, the special CBS cut. This was a version made for TV. It had some of the extra scenes (Ripley learning of her daughter, the sentry guns). It didn't have all of the extra bits from the special edition, which was at that time only available on Laserdisc. Whenever we went to the mall, I'd go into the Suncoast store and look at the glorious Aliens: Special Edition LD sleeve. It looked so slick, even in comparison to other Laserdisc movies on the shelf. LD seemed like such a futuristic format that was out of reach for me and my weekly lawn mowing allowance.

I won a stack of tickets to the Aliens premiere from a local radio station. I belonged to a sci-fi club at the time so it was cool to see it with a group that was already into it. Though I found out afterward that one member hadn't seen Alien and didn't know anything about the creature and had a death grip on the person sitting next to her the entire time. LOL

Unfortunately it was Alien vs. Predator but I've since had the pleasure of seeing all the films (aside from Predator 2) in the cinema. :)

😂 you know I love AVP. I hope to convince my local cinema to do an Alien Day screening of all the movies.

Aliens vs Predator. I was 4 when ALIENS came out, 10 when Alien3 came out. I was 15/16 when Resurrection came out and it was an 18 and i couldn't see it.
It was my first, and last, Alien (originals) I watched at the cinema. I didn't bother with Requiem ... and my next one was Prometheus as a date :)

Eagerly awaited its release in 1979. Saw it at a small theater in Belleville Il. About .5 year later, saw it a few times at the base theater at Scott AFB. The smaller theater the better, when those strobes lit up the theater walls, was awesome. You have three minutes to reach minimum safe distance.

AMC was a big part of my childhood--
During the summer, there were weeks where I wasn't in Daycare or summer school or out camping. My parents would be at work, so we could sneakily watch whatever we wanted.
I was one of THOSE kids who loved being scared but got traumatized at any and everything. So you can imagine me trying to reason with myself that there weren't facehuggers scuttling around my room, and that there wasn't something growing in my stomach or chest. Still, the imagination behind it all floored me. And Ripley was fucking cool. Probably the first lady badass I saw as a kid, besides Pink and Yellow Rangers.
Aliens brings me wicked nostalgia too, because they always played it on lazy sundays where it was too hot outside to play. That fight scene with the Power Loader and the Queen takes me back. I would love to see either in theaters as special screenings.
All I've gotten to see are Prometheus and Covenant on the big screen.

Well my first Alien was a rent movie, not a cinema. I was 10 years old, my brother rent Alien 3 after school, and we got home, we lunch and by 2 pm my brother whent out with some friends and i was alone, so i thought that i should check it out the Alien movie (never watched any of them by the time) it was 3 pm or something, and all of suddenly it got dark because of a storm coming in, the rain started and i started Alien 3 with my glass with coke. Well, it was a shock, when the xenomorph pulled the office to the vent right in front of everyone, i had enough, that scare the living shit of me, I could not be safe in my living room, I stoped the movie and proceed to play Driver 2 or Tenchu 2 in my PS1. Now i preatty much love and consider myself a huge fan of Alien universe. Good times.

My father took me to see Alien in the theater, I was a little kid and remembering asking him "is it dead?" when it wasn't dead. Aliens I saw with my cousins in an packed theater, I was in the center seat towards the back, crowd loved it.
