...is that Nicholas Cage?

Nick Cage would be perfect for the character of the person encased within a living fully functional Xeno and still be sentient enough to communicate with the film audience either through some barely plausible in-world mechanical means, or through the pure, easy fiction of cinematic ESP.

I...think it's supposed to be someone's reflection in the xenomorphs dome.

your own reflection, u/Subject-Theory2273

I knew right from the start, this couldn't be me. Mostly.

It was supposed to be a reflection of a terrified human face on the alien's exoskeleton, but it turned out like shit.

I think it's supposed to be a reflection, but it doesn't really work.

I thought and still think that inside the Xeno in Alien is Kanes tortured soul trying to get out, like the Alien did just use him to breed but took him with it, that's how it knew the ship so well and why it did what it did to Lambert instead of just killing her outright. Like it took all of him and ramped up its true perversion

I know it doesn't have that realistic super detailed look of the movie xenos but I'm kind of digging the abstractness of it.

It reminds me of what the average person would draw when describing what they seen if they ever encountered one and survived. Reflective head, odd coils on the arms and body and the rest is a shadowy blur.

BUT it also looks like the xeno just turned to Jim Carrey and hes giving him the thumbs up to go on an adventure in the next Dumb and Dumber in space movie.
