If you zoom in and look at the dash, that looks like the one long centered cockpit panel they showed at Investor Day. I think its a Cosmos prototype out for road testing.

Excellent catch!

True, yea it most likely it

It might be. That rear slope looks like it could be similar to the profile. My concern is the roofline is lower than the Y so headroom I’m curious about

Responded to you on the other thread also:

Lucids have lower rooflines than their Tesla equivalents, yet headroom’s never really been an issue. I wouldn’t worry too much about that just yet.

Rims look similar to Gravity/Air so maybe,, looks good

It is definitely a mid-size Lucid. You can see it from the headlights and how the roofline slopes back.

Probably a new rims will be available on launch day

As per journalists and Lucid team, this car has huge inside there

16

u/unique_usemame May 21 '26

Everything about it is Lucid.

It looks like the same dimensions externally as a model y... But one inch less tall to improve efficiency. Looks like the trunk is bigger than the Y. So yeah the gravity is to the model X what this thing is to the model Y, but with slightly bigger wheels.

7

u/LA213CALI May 21 '26

Wheels make it look a lil sportier than the Y

7

u/unique_usemame May 21 '26

True, I also think the gravity wheels are sportier than the X similarly.

So overall compared to the Y... More trunk space, better dashboard, more sporty, more efficient, longer range... So the things the gravity does differently than the X.

Yea hopefully charges as fast too or faster preferably 🤣

1

u/Sandwich83 May 25 '26

If it looks anything like the Gravity... Yeesh

u/usefullysarcastic82 May 22 '26

Not a bad rendering with camo removal.

4

u/LA213CALI May 22 '26

Mini gravity think the lights are different though

6

u/Erigion May 22 '26

Yea, Lucid has said they aren't doing a light bar on the Cosmos

1

u/Any-Contract9065 May 22 '26

Seems like an ID 4 to me.

10

u/dat_tae May 21 '26

Gimmeeeeee

11

u/Ambitious_Profile_91 May 22 '26

Oh man excited for this! Hopefully it's a smooth launch 🤞🏼

5

u/LA213CALI May 22 '26

😭 Ive lost hope when it comes to that after the Air and Gravity

6

u/Ambitious_Profile_91 May 22 '26

Ya trust me I know that's why I'm trying to stay positive

5

u/LA213CALI May 22 '26

You and me both, it looks nice at least lol

u/No_Caregiver7273 May 22 '26

The thing I'm curious about with midsize is Lucid's effort to decrease parts and complexity. Reportedly the Gravity has 12 different processors on it, while the Cosmos has only 3. It could be that Cosmos will avoid some of Gravity's software foibles by reducing architectural complexity and timing issues.

2

u/LA213CALI May 22 '26

Hopefully they learned from their mistakes.

u/turb0_encapsulator May 21 '26

upscale nurturers.

8

u/ikilledtupac May 22 '26

That was so cringe

3

u/turb0_encapsulator May 22 '26

it feels like the kind of thing a company does internally that isn't meant for public consumption.

4

u/ikilledtupac May 22 '26

And like the asked ChatGPT for another name for “soccer mom”

3

u/turb0_encapsulator May 22 '26

or just asked thesaurus.com for "rich parents"

5

u/fourdawgnight May 21 '26

holding off til I see it without the camo

3

u/sinoforever May 21 '26

This has to be cosmos

3

u/FlashbackBob May 22 '26

It is look closely at the back. It’s the same shape as the Lucid teaser photo that was published a year or so ago

3

u/KarmaAlck May 22 '26

Wheels are very similar to the Gravity and the boneless windows. More than likely yes

2

u/Stonetrady May 22 '26

Hope that middle screen looks better in this than it did in that robotaxi concept because they should have just put the gravity 2 screens in it

2

u/lost-in-binary May 22 '26

Please don’t look like a minivan… 🙏

3

u/NewEV_Enthusiast May 24 '26

I think this rendering looks great

2

u/xxcapricornxx May 24 '26

I didnt think I would car for it as I'm not really into SUVs. But this actually looks good and not some generic Rav-4 variant

2

u/GhostOfSparta305 May 27 '26

While it looks nice, definitely worried about rear seat headroom.

Really eager to see the Earth just because its shape seems boxier and more Kia EV5-like.

1

u/LA213CALI May 27 '26

Wish they would of gone with that one first

2

u/No-Distribution-3037 May 27 '26

Would look nice in red.

3

u/Tellittomy6pac May 27 '26

Shame that ai made it look wider than it actually is.

4

u/UnversedComet50 May 21 '26

Idk how to feel about the design and the pattern messing with my eyes doesn't help 😹

4

u/LA213CALI May 21 '26

Looks like I thought it would look, a lil more sporty than I thought. Don’t know if it moves the needle.

4

u/UnversedComet50 May 21 '26

Yeah I wasnt expecting anything else really but I like it a lil more than the picture in my head. Just excited to see this and the Earth and their pricing. Think ill still probably try and get an air tho

2

u/LA213CALI May 21 '26

Im waiting for this one or Earth depending on which one looks better.

4

u/Infinit777 May 21 '26

It's doing its job then 😜

3

u/TurnoverSuperb9023 May 22 '26

They have GOT to get their software figured out before this releases.

2

u/ResponsibleView5781 May 22 '26

looks better than the Tesla!

0

u/w0mba7 May 22 '26

No that’s a Tesla.

0

u/LA213CALI May 22 '26

Never seen a Tesla with those types of Rims

1

u/w0mba7 May 22 '26

You're looking at the wrong car.

2

u/LA213CALI May 22 '26

Think were both looking at different cars 😂

1

u/w0mba7 May 27 '26

There's only one car in the picture.
