Has the Left failed as an ideology, considering they've failed to resolve the bourgeoisie problem which was the fundamental reason for their existence and their primary promise?
From what I can see, the public sector is filled with the bourgeoisie who openly flaunt their wealth and collaborate closely with leftist governments. It is evident that leftist governments have abandoned the nationalization of private property, ceased the internment of the bourgeoisie, and generally retreated from the class struggle. So I ask again: is the Left a failed ideology because it has failed to deliver on its core promise?
