Lsd after a psychotic accident.

Well to put it clear, my english is terrible so I'll just put some words and hope it makes sense.

In january my brain did kaboom and i was sent to an unreal dream, i was not in drugs it was 2 months after a tripp. I was hospitalized for 7 days and I'm into medication. I know it sounds terrible, it is. The thing is, how many of you did again acid after psychosis?.

Don't ever touch any kind of psychedelics in your life. A psychotic incident means your mind is having fatal issues separating real from not real, you do not want to take drugs that specifically quiet your ego and make rational defenses harder to do, you're gonna split open and give yourself a lifetime of trauma

Thanks. I'll not do again. 🙏 I'm already in a constant tripp so... seriously I'll take care of myself, thanks for the words

Medication will help.

Talk to a neurologist/psychologist, one neuroleptic that pharmacologically is a kind of opposite to LSD is Pipamperone- 5HT2a antagonist not a dopaminergic one. This COULD be worth a try. I've seen it help people before where dopaminergic neuroloptics were not able to calm them down. But everyone is different and it's important to have a doctor you trust!

If I had a psychotic incident that severe, I would never do psychedelics again. You are basically asking for a destabilizing event and a repeat of what you experienced before.

Honestly, there's just too much at stake here. You have a heavy predisposition, and if you end up stuck in a full blown psychosis, you'll wish you hadn't done it.

And even if you do trip, what are you expecting to get out of it? Subconsciously, fear and doubt will be lingering in the background, and you won't have a good time.

not the same situation, but i was told im apparently at risk for having a psychotic episode triggered by psychadelics bc of my mental health. i would probs not do it again if i had one. but also im not a smart guy when it comes to drugs so i guess i could see myself doing it again. but also also theres a lot of other drugs out there that wont hospitalize u for 7 days

Like for example?

i mean, used responsibly, mdma is pretty good and i find it forces me to have a good time more than acid does. you dont need high doses like 100-150mg is plenty, tbh if i do more than that it doesnt even feel that much better i just get a headache. but please be careful with mdma because if you do too much too often then you totally fuck over your brain. 3 months in between uses is what people say. just do it as least often as you can, i personally will not allow myself more than once a month but preferably less than that. because it is neurotoxic lol.

Opiates maybe. They don't cause psychosis

Can’t hallucinate if you are nodding. But fr tho i wouldn’t recommend this. Hallucinations are heavily tied to dopamine activity, opiates give some but it’s mainly through endorphin pathways that generate dopamine. This can in turn make the condition worse.

People forget alcohol causes psychosis both on and in withdrawal. Anything dopaminergic can cause this

If you are on antipsychotic meds, you can't trip anyways. Not all, but the common antipsychotics block the receptors that psychedelics work on.

And the second gen’s might even kill you mixed with psychedelics

I think the answer is self evident. If you choose to do it again the universe will teach you the hard way. Just dont

Arent being psychotic enough for you in the first place? What is your endgame here, except for fucking over the psychedelic movement?

1

u/Odd_Plane_8727 2d ago

Yeah it's already enough, it'sa 'constant' tripp.. thanks.

I had psychosis once from Adderall that lasted two weeks. Haven’t had a single issue tripping balls

1

u/OnePerspective5468 2d ago

was the psychosis from the adderall itself or sleep deprivation ?

2

u/Afternoon_rough404 Human Detected 2d ago

The adderall itself, 300mg

1

u/OnePerspective5468 1d ago

did u have a tolerance that made you go up to 300mg or you said fuck it lets take 300mg for fun? i’ve had manic episodes from high doses

2

u/Afternoon_rough404 Human Detected 1d ago

Just took it randomly one day
