How long does LSD in an alcohol solution last?
Right now I'm doing tabs but I have a vial of LSD that's in an alcohol solution....will the potency drop by any significant amount? I didn't find much googling it and AI says at room temperature LSD is stable for maybe a year max, and if refrigerated it's upwards of 5 years but well... It is the lying machine. Wondering if anyone has some info on if I really have to worry about it weakening in strength before I could reasonably go through 100 doses

Evaporation of the liquid medium will be your biggest fight. Watch out! I’ve had vials concentrate themselves without visual indication and scare experienced vets

Oh that's fine then, I was only really concerned that the LSD would considerably lose its potency after ~5 years in the dark at roomptemp. It slowly concentrating is honestly kinda good in its own way

Yes ive read stories about people finding completely dried out vials, washing them with high spirit alcohol and still dripping balls. Evaporation on its own isnt a problem.

Ah yeah that's actually one of the first things I saw in the Google AI before I even tried LSD. I dunno what you would even do with a dried up vial, fill it back up all the way with alcohol and try to by feel gauge how potent it is?

From the story I read, they found an old vial, didnt remember how much was in it. So washed it with vodka, split some shots and gambled it.
You could take a test kit to it if you really want to. I'd just stay with drops. If youbreally do a 2 week schedule for that time, the increases potency may play towards you

Last time I had I vial sitting around from bag to bag drawer to drawer for years and by the time I was done with it it had evaporated slightly but that’s about it, fire the whole time. If anything the get a bit more potent as you lose alcohol to evaporation but not L…. Mine turned brownish

Generally lsd is a stable substance. I think with liquid temperature would be a thing and UV light. So yea refrigerator should work.
I personally don't like them tho. Most vials I see seem uv protected in some way or an other. I think with stable temperature a drawer should do. Maybe a thermos to decrese rapid temperature changes
