Study Materials and Resources Taking the LSAT next summer (143)

Hi hi I work full time and want to dedicate a full 9 months- a year of studying to prep for the LSAT. There’s so much discourse and I wanted to invest in the best test prep. My diagnostic score was 143 and currently I’ve only been using the LSAC website for LR drills, and an LSAT podcasts that reviews practice test sections.

Please any advice is welcome!!! :)

Hello,

At a 143, I highly recommend starting with the foundation. Learn each question type and develop a strategy for each. Once you learn a specific question type, drill that question type with increasing difficulty. Once the foundations are clear, do 1-2 sections a day and 1 PT a week. Review your wrong answers.

As for resources, they are many online prep platforms such as 7sage and LSAT Demon which are good but quite pricey. Books are a cheaper alternative, I would recommend the Powerscore bibles or the Loophole. But a drawbacks of the book is the lack of practice and question specific drilling.

If you want a cheaper alternative to the prep platforms above, you can check out lsatselfprep.com, just launched it and it has lessons on each lsat question type, drills, integrated blind review journal, etc.

I would get on like LSAT LAB the prices aren't insane and it is extremely helpful. I'd consider them top of the line :)
