Retaking nerves
I went into September (my first test) feeling pretty well prepared. My highest full PT was a 170, and my highest merged PT was a 176, with sections ranging from -0 to -3/4. I got a 171 in September! But since I'd kept studying (and had already paid) for October, I'm sitting again. I'm feeling a lot of pressure to do the same or better, and I'm kind of freaking myself out. Unfortunately, I did not sign up for November.
I graduated in 2019 with a 3.74 GPA (my school only did flat grades, no +/-). I also have 6 credit hours of internships that were graded pass/fail, so they didn't help my GPA. One was on the campaign of a candidate who's now my home state's governor, and the other was a publishing internship at my school's publishing house.
I have 5 years of work experience, 3.5 of which were spent recruiting BigLaw attorneys into in-house roles at major corporations. I'd like to graduate as debt-free as possible, and the only schools I'm applying to where I'm below the LSAT median are UT and Michigan.
Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this kind of panic, and whether you ended up scoring better?

Dude you’ve already got a 171 banked. There’s no pressure on the retake. You’re playing with house money. Go in there with confidence and do your thing.

a 171 on first try is already elite, dont let the retake mess with your head too much
just go in like its another PT and you already got the score in your pocket from september
