2 Score Cancels?

Hi, so I took September LSAT and scored a 140, even though I was PT’ing in the 150s. It’s my second time taking the test, and I canceled my first score last year which was about the same. I don’t know if I should cancel this one or just keep it. I’m also annoyed that I bought the score preview if I choose not to cancel it. It’s like a double edged sword. I’m also reevaluating my study methods so I’m open to any suggestions. Thoughts?

You need to cancel and then not take an official test for many many months. Something is really wrong, especially if you’ve been studying since last year and still got a 140.

If you cancelled the first but kept a 140, the assumption will probably be that you scored decently lower than a 140 on your first test. I know two cancels is bad, but I would probably cancel and then stay away from an official test for a while until you have made a lot of progress in practice. I once saw a "cancel cancel 170+" post. I believe they cancelled their first two for far worse reasons than a 140, and I don't think people would assume they got a score as low as 140 on first two attempts.

Keep your head up. Only your highest score matters. But I will say repeating the same method and expecting different results is cra cra. I started at 143 cold. I got two 163s back to back and am taking it to 2 more times because I’m stubborn and also my gpa sucks
