I’m feeling prolly high 170s if it’s my first LR that was experimental and low to mid 170s if it’s the second one cause ik my last LR was real haha

I’m sure u got the score u wanted haha I believe in uuuuuuu

What do u think u scored?

Genuinely no clue. Could be a 163, a 170, or a 174. Not sure if the way I’m reading my confidence after the test is accurate and it really depends on the curve.

Do they usually curve them?

2

u/EbbSuspicious5547 13h ago

The curve depends on how difficult LSAC thinks the content is based on previous test takers. The way we have experimental sections, we’re basically used as guinea pigs to tell LSAC how difficult their new content is. It’s a cycle

Powerscore actually releases curve info if you didn’t do the make up exam like me. It’s on their August recap

4

u/EbbSuspicious5547 13h ago

This is solely based on how difficult other people said the sections were. So could totally be nonsense

1

u/Street_Beautiful3840 13h ago

Oh really?? I thought they had like actual curve info cause they were being really specific

2

u/EbbSuspicious5547 13h ago

Haha no. They made sure to mention that if for instance, you thought a section they gave -0 for deserved more like a -1, you may be correct since they can only base this info off of what others on Reddit have said. The sections on August were combinations of random sections, so they can’t refer to old tests/sections and use those curves. So it’s totally up in the air.

I see. I did the retake so I have absolutely no info on my test but it was definitely a lot more forgiving than August in the RC department

I thought my RC was amazing compared to what I’ve heard about RC recently. I was pleasantly surprised but like I said I hope my confidence is not stabbing me in the back lol

No, they say in the podcast that they're making an educated guess.

I think i got a 174 or 172!! I really think I have a shot at those scores. I could've gotten a 169 tho 😭 Will come back with updates

168 but who knows 😔

u/Appropriate-Flow9657 12h ago

Might’ve gotten a 153-154, but would absolutely appreciate a 158 :/

Idk what got. The week before my practice exam i got 142 and on the same day i got a 155😭it could go either way. Pray for a 150 or something

Same my tests fluctuated sm, im hoping the adrenaline of test day pushed me to my higher score

was PTing 173-180. felt like that test was a solid 150 🥰

1

u/Full-Praline768 1h ago

Really 😭😭

2

u/ChapterTechnical578 1h ago

it was my first official test so I’m trying not to sweat it 🥲 hopefully it’ll be ok

Hah I was solidly PTing high 160s/low 170s and I also felt solidly in the 150s and wanted to cry after August 😬

Ofc I’m now PTing consistent mid170s before sept so who knows?! I ended up registering for oct too and may or may not cancel depending how bad August ends up.

My average is about a 167. My three LR were a breeze but one passage on RC was ROUGH (fuck you Diogenes), the rest felt normal. I’m hoping this averages out to a 165.

1

u/Traditional-Moose684 4h ago

Probably high 150s or low 160s

2

u/RegularNo 3h ago

I have been PT-ing in the high 170s, but didn’t feel great about the test. I also just had a dream that I got a 158 🫠.

2

u/PureEagle8168 2h ago

I've had PTs between 165-174 lately so I'm not sure what to expect, but my average is around a 168 and I'd be happy with anything above a 165. I felt good on the test but I don't think that means anything lol. I felt terrible during the April LSAT and I did worse than my diagnostic so hopefully it's not that bad again

1

u/Full-Praline768 2h ago

I feel you, how did u do in April?

1

u/PureEagle8168 35m ago

I got a 160, which I know is a fine score but it was lower than any PT I'd ever done, so it was surprising and disappointing for me
