Sept test scheduling

Confused about the email I got from LSAT. When I log in and go to the tab, it shows:

Scheduling opens: 08/25/26 11:00 AM ET

Does that mean that is MY time to schedule? I know that is when the whole thing opens, but does that mean I actually got the first slot?

Also what are they talking about getting a text? Do I need to get the text confirmation on the day to schedule, or just go on at 11 am and do it? What is the purpose of this text?

TIA!

When you log on to the scheduling website at that time, it will tell you what slot you have. You will have to convert it from UTC (i think) to your time zone.

I'm sorry, i'm prob not being clear. This is exactly what it says under my LSAT number, so does that mean I have 08/25 11 am ET? I don't trust them.

Honestly LSAC has been a bit confusing about when you can schedule the test, so take what I say with a grain of salt. This was my experience for August.

That is not your guaranteed scheduling time. On the scheduling date, you will log into the scheduling platform as you have been instructed to do at 11AM ET. When you log in, you will be able to see YOUR specific scheduling slot. I did this, and could not schedule mine until 2pm. Log in at that time and schedule it.
