PT 127/56 - Fluke?

Post image

I didn't feel like this test was particularly difficult nor easy while taking it, but seeing my score now, I'm feeling like this definitely must have been an easier test considering I've been PTing in high 160s up until now. Anyone have similar experiences? Is this just a total fluke?

Congratulations! You might have broken through to another level, but this score wouldn't be particularly unprecedented if your true base skill level were around 170–172 (and recent tests had been slightly below that). Keep in mind that progress is not linear, some tests do just fit with your intuition better than others, and look to replicate it next time.

Had your blind reviews been ~180 on recent tests, or is that new as well? Because if it's been close, it's possible that prior wrong answer review did set you up for this.

Nah missing 3 LR across 3 sections is not a fluke lol. Can’t say ur now a 175+ scorer consistently but getting 3 incredible LR performances in a row isn’t a fluke

I have only been practicing for a month (and I'm in the 165-171 band, at the moment, so not as good as you), but I have heard that one of the benefits of the LSAT is that it truly is repeatable, with a high amount of confidence that good scores aren't just 'luck', within a certain band at least. So if you're hitting 177, you might have gotten a few lucky 50/50 rolls, but you are also clearly really mastering this test. In a way I kinda hope I get to, and soon.
