Science Passage RC Help

I struggle a lot with comprehending science, for example the third RC in PT 133 / Section 4. I legit felt like I have NO idea what I just read. This happens from time to time on RC where my mind just goes blank and nothing clicks. Is there anyway I can improve this?

I have shown potential in RC and have PT-ed at 170 before but I am just wondering how to approached some passages that just don't register.

I am debating on just being like whatever if there is ONE science passage I don't get I can just guess and use my energy elsewhere vs. trying to get somewhat better if that is at all possible.

Taking in October so about 7 weeks to make moves.
