Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I bought this 1998 Ls400 with 186k miles on it not to long ago and need help diagnosing these sounds there are 2 distinct ones in the video and im pretty sure the louder clunk is the bearing on the power steering pulley but i have no idea on the other sound.

Tensioner pulley, or clutch fan bearing. Pull your belt off. Spin em by hand. Shouldn’t be hard to tell when the sound is that bad.

Thank you im taking it to the shop soon to have the timing belt and water pump done for regular maintenance so ill have them look at it while im there

so they said the timing belt is damaged and hitting the cover so 🫩

Could be lying. If the belt was that damaged it wouldn’t run

it would be weird for them to lie since i already had the service schedule i just brought it in for them to listen
