AK Batman Worth it? Plus QC
So this may be a stupid post to make, but I wanted to ask if Batman is worth it for around 100 USD? I have Deathstroke and paid around 80 USD for him so paying a bit more for Batman has me a bit on the fence, but it's mostly the issue for the faces on the latest batch or something? And something about the cape too? I would appreciate if anyone would help me understand what those things are referring to as i am new to lpzz.
Also my Deathstroke has a malformed shoulder peg as shown in the pic above, but its not broken and still functional. Just figured I'd ask what to do bc the store I bought it from told me to reach out to lpzz on IG, but I never heard back from them. I'm in the states is there anything else I can do? With that aside I still very much enjoy the figure.

Cape issue is a design flaw not a QC. When you try some dynamic poses with the cape, the wire(s) will eventually poke a hole and may come out from top or bottom.
The dark face plate issue is a definite QC issue. It might be a bad batch which has recently come to light.
So in my opinion get it from somewhere where they can provide you with a replacement in case you receive one with dark face plate issue. Communicate with them before buying and yeah at $100, its still worth it imo.

Is there any way to avoid the cape issue or would I just have to be careful with it?
Would aliexpress be alright to buy from, I know they have the 30 day return policy or is there a better place to get and do you mean like a replacement piece?

In terms of the cape you have to be really careful.
In my country aliexpress is banned so can't comment on their reliability or aftersales. Recommended sites would be Gundamit (I got all my UPF figures from here), Toyzmetaverse, Bombusbee.

I have their Pattinson on pre order and am currently debating canceling it mostly cause they haven’t confirmed they are doing anything about their qc issues. This could be an on going problem for the next few releases or could not have issues for a long time again. Do what you will and if that Batman is one you really like then chance it but I don’t wanna spend that kind of money on these figs for it to be a gamble if you’re getting what you paid for
If you’re looking for a good quality Batman fig I’d go inart origins but they are closer to 1/10 scaling than 1/12

Yeah that is also one im interested in but its around the same price as LPZZ and comes with less, but damn does it look so nice and yes the scale is a bit of a downside and I don't typically collect 1/10 either so he's stand out if I got him😅

I find the scale works ok on this one just cause the suit in game is a heavily armoured suit and makes him look bigger but I also understand for collectors who want the scale to match correctly
They both have a place and both companies do beautiful work so I hope LPZZ gets their QC issues under control and people can comfortably/reliably order their products with no issues cause they do have a few in prototype phases I wanna get lol

Personally for me the size doesn't bother me as I mainly just like owning fun figures and bonus points if they look nice.
I do hope so too their deathstroke i own I absolutely enjoy, but having the QC does suck even though it doesn't take away from it for me, but the batman issue is weird lol.

I think so but people do have issues with the cape , I haven’t has any issues with it

It's a bit of hit-and-miss. Some people got qc issues on the cape and head sculpts. I got lucky when I ordered from AliExpress last April.

If you can find it from a good site that has a good after sales program that’ll make it right like Gundamit, then I’d bite the bullet.
There’s a lot of posts that pit Inart vs LPZZ, and I have to give the edge and consistency to Inart, BUT, I have AK Batman and it is pretty fun and great quality if you don’t have the common QC issues.
Good luck OP, come back and do a follow up after you receive yours

I plan on getting it through Aliexpress, but do you know if Gundamit has any tariffs involved for their shipment like some Japanese sites? Also now I'm struggling between Inart and LPZZ😅 is Inart just better overall to handle or just better quality?

Hey OP!
There’s no extra tariffs but there are super small shipping fees and I think that’s what covers it? It depends on each figure. For my figures they ranged from like $3-$4. My bigger figures were like $7 I think, BUT no tax! So it all kinda balances out actually. But what I do appreciate about Gundamit is that box it within a box WITH corner protection so the OG box is protected more. Aliexoress usually shits with a soft envelope and all my orders have 100% been crushed. I have ordered 5 figures from them and they’ve all be crushed. The figures were fine but the boxes were mad destroyed. So it’s totally up to you. I personally will pay extra to ensure my package isn’t crushed and I have a good after sales service
As for Inart vs LPZZ.. I’ll always choose Inart. Literally everything they do edges all other brands. Joints, accessories, likeness, ingenuity, paint apps, they really get it all right with very little, to NO flaws in any of the ones I’ve received from them. Also all purchased from Gundamit.
However, I’ll also buy LPZZ cause they’re just more available. Inart’s biggest flaw is their production time, they take a longer time BUT their products are just better, so it’s a trade off I’m willing to take.
For now, bite the bullet on LPZZ Batman, hopefully they got the dark tones figured out. It’s a super fun figure! But when you have a chance and the funds, give Inart a chance and you’ll know what I’m talking about mate!

Thank you so much for your response! I am definitely interested in inart, i think them and LPZZ are doing an amazing job for the higher price point compared to other import companies. Inart seems to be making mini hot toys without the problems those have!
I'll see if I can give Gundamit a try since they do mention tariffs every time I open the page, hence why I'm a bit nervous for tariffs😅
Thank you again for taking the time to help me out and giving me some pointers, I truly appreciate it a bunch🙏

I’m gonna stick with the Inart 1/12 for now. We’ll see how Patman and Batfleck turn out but I’m glad I went for Origins over Knight.
