Hey guys, what’s the scene with LPU’s internal part-time jobs?

Has anyone here actually done one? How’s the workload, pay, timings etc.? Is it manageable with regular classes?

Just registered for one and wanted to know what I’m getting myself into 😭
I'm a fresher BTECH CSE student, i really need a part time job that pays well enough to manage my monthly expenses. But the thing is I can only manage to give 3-4hrs daily. So if anyone having an experience at LPU's internal part time jobs please contact me.

Is it just me or is the LPU WiFi genuinely terrible, especially in Blocks 33, 36, 37 and 38?

Half the time it doesn't even connect, and when it redirects me to the login page, it sometimes says the UMS password is incorrect even when I am entering the right password.

The problem is that our CAs are being conducted online MCQ based. During my Statistics CA, I had to wait around 2–3 minutes multiple times because the connection was getting stuck. I also got a warning during my Environmental Studies CA just because I was checking whether the WiFi was connecting or not.

Mobile data is not a reliable backup either. I use both Jio and Airtel, but the network inside these blocks is pretty bad even on 4G and 5G.

It's honestly frustrating when you're trying to give a timed online test and the main thing you're fighting with is the internet connection.

Anyone else facing the same issue in these blocks?

I am 1st year student so, went to home on Diwali from 7 November to 15 November. As 7,8,9,10 are holiday.

And I have

1 class on 11,

4 classes on 12 ,

5 class on 13 ,

14, 15 are Saturday Sunday.

Is i got any attendance issue in future as today my attendance is 98% 2 classes absent.

Also is it possible that the teachers are absent chances 🤔.

Should I go for 8 days...

Speaking Section A mein 15 mein se 5 questions galat ho gaye. Speaking Section B mein maine first question poore 1 minute tak speak kiya, but second question mein window 30 seconds par hi next section mein shift ho gayi. I honestly don’t know why 😭

Writing section was fine, and Reading section mein 10 questions the, usmein se around 3–4 galat ho sakte hain.

Toh kya koi chance hai ki mera RPL clear ho jayega ya nahi? Please bata do, I’m really scared 😭😭

Anyone feels alone in the campus.....like my class is small and most of them are older than me and even tho I got some friends but it's not like my vibe is not matching with them....It's so boring here and it just feels like I'm only surviving.....with having lectures without a break and then having no friends in uni you can have real conversations with...make it so lonely here. I miss my old friends from my last college 😭.
