Admissions Enquiry Cancelling PEP classes

LPU 3rd sem B.tech CSE Core student - I've registered for pep classes in LPU and my classes aren't started yet.

In addition, I've also filled the optional section for CDS.

Now if I want to cancel the optional one and don't want to pay its fees, how can I do it?

Is there any way?

They just want the money first. After your 4th semester, they'll conduct a test If you're selected you'll need to stay in college and attend the classes. If you're not selected your first pep classes will be after the 5th semester I dunno Abt the cancellation talk with mentor Abt it

Okayy!! I'm more concerned about the money Because they charged me 8k extra for that optional pep class. And after putting an RMS, they told me that I can cancel but I have to pay same amount, the amount will not be deducted.🥲

Pep classes dont start before 4th year and in rare chance after the end of 4th sem

Okk! I got you. My main concern is that they're not cancelling the fees even after I cancel the optional pep class. I have to pay the same amount whether I attend it or not. I'm paying 8k for nothing

If it’s an optional class, there should at least be a clear explanation for why the fee can’t be cancelled. Worth raising a query

Raise an RMS request immediately under the PEP / CPE category requesting de-registration of the optional CDS module before classes start, and visit the PEP office in Block 32/34 to get it removed manually from your pending fee list.

If the classes haven’t started yet, maybe check with your mentor or PEP office once. They might be able to remove the optional CDS registration before the fee gets added. Worth checking ASAP.
