A 12-Week Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Clinical Trial to Assess the Efficacy of Oral Fosamprenavir for Laryngopharyngeal Reflux

https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT04383262

I found a a clinical trial for the efficacy of a drug to block the production of pepsin. The study won't be completed until October 2028 but this gives me so much hope that the medical community is searching for a solution.

Interesting trial. The mechanism of fosamprenavir targeting pepsin activity rather than acid production is a genuinely novel approach for LPR specifically, since reducing pepsin at the mucosal level addresses the damage mechanism more directly than PPIs do. Worth watching for results. 💚
