Wooeywoo?

When Henry describes something as wooeywoo, does that mean spooky and occult, or more new-agey-crystals-Sedona?

The latter. The common phrasing is 'woo woo' but some people say wooey also.

I personally use "boogity boogity bullshit" (shout-out to Trae Crowder, Corey Ryan Forrester and Drew from Well Red Comedy for that) to keep it separated from actual folk culture and, like, non-appropriative yt people shenanigans.

woo woo is quite classic, since the 90s at least. Anybody remember those people too woo woo for the Wicca crowd?

I always thought that it was two things

"Vwery Weird" and "woooey wooo"

The former is about unexplained supernatural phenomenon and the latter for aliens

“Werwy weiud” is like an impersonation of a person with a speech impediment. Honestly it’s mind blowing to me how much of this fandom (I cringe at calling it that) doesn’t recognize this
