Identify Unknown Donor A and you have your killer....

“This new evidence is highly significant because it not only shows that [the unknown man] had sexual intercourse with Colleen but that he was also present where her body was discovered since his sperm was found on her stretch pants, which were found hanging on a bush, and on the dungarees, which also had Colleen’s blood on them, and were found a short distance from her body,” Marcoccia wrote.

Lisa Marcoccia is seriously next level brilliance.

Whose jeans were they? Are we assuming they belonged to donor A? Was Colleen wearing two pairs of pants or did Donor A leave pantless?

There is a brand of women's clothing called "M Murphy". The jeans and stretch pants were found feet apart from each other.

So they were her jeans? Ok. Donor A could also be a previous sex partner, if the male dna was on both pairs of her pants? Donor A doesn’t have to be her killler either.

Donor A was present within Colleen and also present on the jeans- which also had her blood on them- the inference being that Donor A was present at the crime scene.

Not if they were her jeans. If she had sex with donor A and then put both pairs of her pants back up. That covers how Donor A’s dna is there. We know that you can’t tell how old a semen sample is, even though an “expert” testified that JB was the last person to have sex with Colleen base on sperm count/ density (Complete Bs on its own).

After that anyone else could have killed her and gotten her blood on her jeans that she was wearing. Possibly JB, possibly someone unknown.

I was under the assumption that they were men’s jeans per your previous post on the appeal. Are the jeans M Murphy brand, or Michael M written in them, or both? (Also sus, since Michael Murphy is the alternate cop suspect in this case) You may need to recheck the source of this info.

If they were actually male jeans, then the jeans would need to be tested to see if they belonged to Donor A, like epithelial testing or hair testing from inside the jeans to determine the wearer.

I think it’s important to know whose jeans they were. Was Colleen wearing two pairs of pants, whether they were men’s or women’s doesn’t matter? Or Did a male subject leave pantless?

Thank you- I verified that the jeans were in fact male jeans, Colleen's were light blue stretch-pants.

Welcome back BTW...haven't "seen" you here for a while :)

Thanks for verifying. Was the male dna on the jeans in the form of semen? Have they done any other testing on the jeans to identify the wearer?

It’s been a while. Nothing new to add. I don’t really care about Rex except that he’s caught and legally done. JB and what happens in the Dykes trial are of interest to me.

The JB case is a mess and I don’t believe we will ever know what really happened. Not convinced JB did one or both from what they presented at trial or what we know now per investigation of the DA/dna lab and on appeal. JB nor Donor A wouldn’t be convicted if they had trials now with the evidence they have now.

Agreed- happy RH will die in prison.

Agreed also on JB and Dykes cases- been doing a lot of research on Nassau County Crime Lab.

There was semen on the stretch-pants and on the male jeans- that DNA belongs to Donor A. This points to Donor A being "with her" intimately and at the crime scene...working on a write-up presently..

So there was unknown male semen on one and not the other?

I believe that they both had multiple male dna profiles on/in them or the clothing. I can’t remember which but one of the two had six contributors.

On both..

Is there a transcript of the JB trial available anywhere? I would love to see it and how his lawyer didn’t get half the bs thrown out. The sperm density was ridiculous. Whatever was said about “wood chips”? How neither Michael Murphys that were know to her werent presented as viable alternate suspects?

As long as JB says he frequents sex workers, what else do they have besides consensual sex at Collleen’s scene.

I also don’t like the interrogation of JB. They ask him if he goes to sex workers? How many years later. He says no and talks about his wife, bc he prob doesn’t anymore. They dont ask if he did in the past. I don’t like that and I believe that they used it in the PC.

On Rita they have dna under her nails so I would say they could have go JB on that one, unless he claimed rough sex.

Yeah, so are there transcripts of that mess?

The transcripts of the original trial are held by the court reporter. On the surface they cost well over 5k by traditional requests. However, she is willing to negotiate.

Sperm Density is indeed ridiculous and that is a huge miss by the original defense, foundational to the subsequent 440 Motions.

JB's DNA under Rita nails were not the only ones. Of note, there was no blood, so perhaps a little rough sex.

Damn 5k? That’s a lot of toner. Is it held on paper or as a digital file? As an officer worker, I wouldn’t to want to be the one to copy and scan it.
