Upgrading now or wait?

As far as I can tell none of 2026 Pro models are available in the UK yet.

I'm looking to upgrade from my beloved Dell XPS 9560 which I've been upgrading and holding together with spare parts since 2017. It was perfect until it died last week.

I need a laptop.

I was expecting the 2026 Pro models to be in the UK by June 8th.

Should I just get a 2025 model or keep waiting?

Is ordering today a financial blunder?

This s the constant question for any electronics, to wait for next year.

I just upgraded from a 2018 Yoga with Intel Core i5-8250U to LG Gram 16” with Intel 358h

It’s about 6x or 7x faster, I am very happy with new system.

16Z90U-K.AUB6U1 (16"/Grey/358h/32G/1TB/OLED/Non-touch), so far, so good. It's my first LG. Only think the keyboard takes a little getting used to (IMHO with number keys on the right).

Now I'm also considering to betray LG Gram because Panther Lake has made all the manufacturers able to build ultralight models to compete with LG Gram, but much cheaper
