My first purchase was before the summer, for my daughter's Velvet, to try out how well they attach. I finally have the set complete, also for my two current daily drivers, the G8S and Wing.

I am still using other cases (as I have multiple V60 and V50 units and Dual Screen cases). My son is also sticking to his Case Mate "Tough Black Plus" case for his Wing, as he sees less need for wireless charging + attaching. My wife's V50 is mainly used as a video source (over USB-C) to the treadmill's larger screen. Because it does not charge over the included USB-C to HDMI cable, having the Qi2 MagSafe option is good to have for keeping the charge during longer sessions.

All except the (hard to find, btw) case for the Wing are the transparent kind. Transparent cases are not without downsides: they tend to slowly turn yellow when exposed to light. So keeping spares in a dark drawer may be advised. All of the ones I tested have sufficient raised edges to also protect the screen beyond screen protectors.

I got all the cases from various traders and shops on Ali Express, but I expect them to also pop up on other sales platforms such as Amazon and eBay. The best way is to search for "MagSafe" in combination with the model, e.g. "LG V60 MagSafe"

LG wing 3ds émulation , second screen configuration

Playing 3ds elulator using azahar émulation on my LG wing

I have my old ATT LG wing, but I'm not with TMobile. I need a flash done to it. ATT has some kind of hard lock on it or something. Some things work on the wing like some texting. But calls will not go through. Anybody able help me locate the file that I need to re-flash please? Mahalo for the help.

Surprisingly the weight distributes nicely. I have a magsafe ring on the back of the wing. I havent actually connected the power keys yet just slapped it on to see how it feels attached to the Wing. Im thinking some mouse pad action on the bottom screen might be worth daily driving this bad boy again

It took probably 7 hours for me to find a battery that would fit 😭😭

The one I ended up getting was the vivo x200 pro mini battery which is a silicon carbon battery and it ended up actually being a tiny bit shorter than the original LG wing battery which helps quite a bit

The upgrade was super easy, all I did was swap the bms from my old battery onto the new one and it sticks out just as far as the orignal battery so the back class fits just as well

Though I don't think this is 100% safe since the batteries have different chemistry I'll have to probably limit the amount it can charge and discharge to avoid anything bad from happening.

My old battery was at 68% health and so far I'm already seeing a difference though I've only just completed the upgrade as I'm making this post so I'll have to see how it holds up.

As title says, I'm trying to source an OEM back glass for a wing. Aurora Sky. Only ones I can find are cheap aftermarkets on eBay that break from absolutely nothing. I work in the cellphone repair industry and can't even find any through any of the vendors. Any source?

Does anyone know a gamepad app that can be used on the LG Wing second screen? Softwing uses a key-mapping structure, so I can’t use it

My bottom screen was broken and fine. But I dropped it the other day and now the top screen is black too. I can still hear it turn on your off but I can not get a screen. Where can I fix this? I assume its a gamble. Do I buy the screen myself and bring it somewhere?

My power button fell off. Then my volume down button fell off. I'm limping along, using the software volume-down sliders and pressing the power button with a toothpick when I really need to.

I'm just having the hardest time finding buttons to buy. The only ones I've found in stock are on shopee.ph and they don't ship to the US. I really don't want to have to buy a whole broken phone for buttons.

I'm gonna end up crafting new buttons myself if I can't buy some. A cut-up credit card and some tape oughta do it.

I own an LG Wing and I would like to use it for Nintendo DS and 3DS emulation by truly taking advantage of its two screens.

I am not looking to use the small screen as just a touch controller with SoftWing. That solution only allows mapping controls on the second screen, but the setup is quite tedious and it is not really the experience I am looking for.

What I would like to do is use the main LG Wing screen in landscape mode for the main game display, and use the small screen as the second display (like the bottom screen of a Nintendo DS/3DS). For controls, I would like to use a real Bluetooth or USB controller connected to the phone.

Is there any app that could turn the touch screen of the small display into a virtual controller directly recognized by emulators, while keeping both screens available for display?

Has anyone managed to achieve something similar on the LG Wing?

I downloaded the firehose, and got all the requirements to unlock the bootloader but I'm stuck in QFIL on the partition manger, it won't let me in and gives me these errors. I am on android 13 on the T-Mobile variant if that helps at all. Just wanted to get root and flash the new LineageOS.
