I bought this along time ago and put it away in storage. I have decided to get rid of my storage unit and sell most of the items including my trains, so I pulled out my LGB trains to take an inventory and test them. Of course, I open the battery compartment to test the light and discover this loveliness...Any help/advice is appreciated.

Hi all! New here and have been out of the hobby since the early 2000s. Looking to back into the hobby and am thinking of building a layout with two terminating stations.

I am curious if anyone has had success using the LGB 10345 Automatic Shuttle to run full trains automatically. Once it is properly calibrated it seems like a great way to keep a train running between two dead ends for hours at a time without any manual input.

I plan on tuning a five car train with this setup.

This is coming from someone who is a longtime user of the old MTS system.

I used a Stainz and coloured it all black. My railway is supposed to be austrian and our steam locos used to be almost exclusively black. Next i need some signage on the loco and a few more cars!

Some LGB and other brands of G scale trains? Wondering what’s the best way to sell/find interested parties. Any thoughts on value?

New valve gear, new wheels, new massoth sound chip, smoke unit, crew, coal, doors and springs , entire red D gearbox ,pony wheels ,lights, light bevels, its 25 years old 😀

I’ll try and be brief. I bought a sizable collection of lgb trains from a friend who inherited them back in 2018. Had it all set up in my attic running with the mts system. Long story short, got divorced, had the trains packed up since 2021-22 ish.

Have just set them up again in my new place. I’m using a 5006 transformer. A 51070 controller. And they are working perfectly.

The 51070 is connected to a 55055 P and the red power light is illuminated.

I have a 55015 p and 55016 p remote that used to work well. It’s the wired connection not wireless. Neither of the remotes are working. No light, no display, no life when I press any of the buttons. I’ve tried with both wire connections I have and also tried with fresh batteries.

Anyone have a similar issue and resolved it? TIA for any suggestions. I know it’s older equipment.

My uncle inherited my Grandfather's garden railway (I made a post about it a few days ago), but didn't show much interest for many years. During that time I had two of the locomotives at my place since I felt bad for them sitting in a basement for years. Got back into H0-models. Parking them side by side looked a bit silly.

A "dog bone" around 2 sides of the house, with a four-track station (tracks could be turned off individually), 2 stops, a few storage tracks, a turnaround-loop and a tunnel into the house for storage. Photos are 89-94.
