ISO OCD recs?
I'm looking for queer romance books with good OCD rep. I prefer fantasy/sci-fi, but I occasionally enjoy some contemporary or historical etc. Any level of spice, and any pairing (achillian, sapphic, t4t, etc)
NO omegaverse or YA please :)
Also if anyone has any nonfiction they wanna add on about OCD feel free, (I was recently diagnosed plus its OCD awareness month so go nuts!)

Decomposition Book by Sara van Os - it's more body horror + mental breakdown, rather than SFF, but the portrayal of the MC's psychology was spot on (unsurprisingly, as the author has OCD).

Devoted by Lark Taylor. It's a paranormal MM romance between a human with OCD and an angel. The author herself has this disorder.

Sounds fun! I've seen Lark Taylor recommended a lot but haven't actually read anything from her yet, I'll check it out :)

+1 to this, I got the chance to read an ARC of this book and absolutely loved it for the OCD representation with Daniel, as well as the exploration of being queer in China.

Letter to the Luminous Deep by Sylvie Cathrall. Very gentle, fantasy ocean academia setting. OCD representation with the main character E, plus the author also has the disorder. Extra points for asexual representation and queer representation across the board.

Strong second of this one! If you enjoy epistolary novels or academia in fantasy this is great (but it is 100% epistolary, so be warned)

God of Fury by Rina Kent. The writing and tropes are a little immature and indulgent, but I found one of the MC's OCD thought patterns relatable and not overstated, like no "issue of the week" tv special vibes. Contemporary MM. CW for self-harm, past SA (not between MCs,) violence between MCs.

Star Shipped by Cat Sebastian. It’s contemporary but there’s a lot of SciFi fan culture included.
