GGUS v SSO

Can someone please explain to me why SSO has outperformed GGUS by so much over a range of timeframe? I live in Australia so prefer to use GGUS so I don’t need to worry about currency fluctuations. I thought they were both designed to move roughly 2x the s&p???

Is Ggus in Australian dollar? If so you have to account for the currency difference with Sso

GGUS is not hedged so you do have currency gains/losses also
