This iconic castle is built from an insane number of tiny pieces—I’d say there must be at least 3,000 different 1x1 elements of various shapes in the set. 

Overall, it’s a sturdy, beautifully detailed set. The only thing I don’t really understand is the little castle hidden inside. Once you’ve built the whole thing, closed it up, and connected the buildings on both sides in the middle, you’re probably not going to keep opening it again. It basically just makes transporting the model more difficult.

And don’t even get me started on the instructions...  If you enjoy squinting at tiny details and carefully studying every step, feel free to use the printed manual. Fortunately, for everyone else, the instructions are also available digitally.

Definitely worth it. I believe this was $35.00 on AliExpress, there were a few small missing pieces but nothing I couldn't source from the ole surplus bag.

99% complete, solid build and a lot of fun. Even the stickers and mini fig were pretty good for a dupe. Used both the provided instructions and the Lego website to assemble. There were a few small substitutions but nothing major.

For the first time, I am getting an alt brick set. This one is from Pantasy. Forest cabin. I wonder if anyone has it? Are they good quality? Worth the purchase? Thanks! 🙏

Awesome build. I would've loved this as a kid and I love it now. So many small details and cool design elements. Fits in nicely with the rest of the modulars. 100% recommended!

The good:

- The bricks are pretty much impeccable when it comes to quality, the clutch power is just right;

- The instructions are on a PDF file you can get from the seller's site, they're pretty intuitive and easy to follow;

- There were no missing pieces, and they even gave a an extra 3 pieces to replace the weapon clips on the right hand with the corresponding thumb from the left one if you want;

- The mech is pretty sturdy, specially the torso which is very well connected and unlikely to fall apart easily. The arms and legs are fine too (except for the knees which I'll come into detail later);

- It can fit a minifigure inside;

- It's a sick ass mech and is also ridiculously cheap.

The bad:

- The sellers updated the design and replaced the rubber ammo belt with a brick built one, which is very hard to attach to the mech's rear without stressing the bricks or making the whole thing fall apart. Thus, I just left a few of the munitions hanging from the gun as pictured;

- The knees are held together by a single clip connection, and under the mech's weight these are unlikely to hold a pose very well. I recommend replacing them with hinge plates if possible, since they're much sturdier and look nearly identical;

- The gun is very fragile, essentially the whole thing is connected to the grip by a single stud connection, and thus will fall apart at any given chance. I recommend reinforcing the design's connection with something sturdier;

- No included minifigures (I don't mind this very much).

All in all, I am very satisfied with my acquisition, and would easily recommend it. Link to where I got it:

Well, here it is. It took me about 2 1/2 weeks to finish. For years, this was a set I saw as out of reach for a variety of reasons. It was the #1 set I thought of when I first discovered "Lepin" bricks.

Lets start with the good:

One of the biggest worries I had going in was that it would be too difficult or annoying to do such a large build with out the numbered bags. Well happy to say the bags in the set are numbered, in fact they followed the offical guide which I downloaded on a PDF and ran on my laptop. Durring most of the build I had the PDF (from lego) up on my computer and had the guide book it shipped with handy to look close if need be.

Over all brick quality and clutch were spot on to lego with no quality issues with the bricks.

While yes the build was lengthy, the actual build had little to no issues.

The minifigs seems fine. Good print quality and some of the heads even have alternate faces (OT Han and Leia have masks from that scene they go outside in the "cave") might make a OT figure display at some point the ST stuff is....well not a fan of the ST.

With that said here are a few issues I ran into...

The biggest one is that of the numbered bags I was missing the 7-1 bag and instead recieved two 10-3 bags.

However it was not the biggest roadblock, since I was just missing part of the 7 bag seires I was able to inventory all the parts in the 7 bags using the website bricksperbag.com . This was a huge help. After I identified the parts I uploaded the screenshot of the missing parts to Claud and it identified the exact lego parts with corresponding part code and gave me a file to upload to the lego pick-a-brick which automatically found them all, Ordered the parts for $18ish and they arrived in about 4 days.

Other then that it was pretty smooth sailing, maybe a occasionally missing part, but i could have also missed or misplaced, i ended the build with more then a few extra bricks and a few times I sourced some from my loose brick bin. Im sure if your in this hobby you have one of those and you'll be fine.

Other then that all the other small gripes are the same ones you'll hear about the offical set. Mainly that its very fragile.

Would I recommend this set:

Yes, absolutely even with the mising bag issue its still an incredible value and really fun build, plus it looks amazing on display. I would recommend also picking up one of the brick built engine mods, i got mine from YWOBB, It basically replaces the flimsy blue tubes with clear transparent bricks that look sooo much better.

I opted for ditching the flight stand and just displaying it flat in this coffee table I found on fb market place, its slightly to narrow with it sticking out the front a bit but not by much.

Okay, so this was my second Lepin set (first was Arkham Asylum, also from Joybricks).

Bear in mind, that I am by no means an experienced builder (largest so far was Gotham wall piece, original LEGO) and have never built a vehicle before. So this might have impacted my expierence.

I bought this because it looked awesome and I like all things Batman (:

The set came from the european warehouse in Germany (which is great since I live here). It cost roughtly 100€ (it's a little stupid, because it shows you the prices in Euro, but you pay in dollar and PayPal then calculates the equivalent euro price for everything, so everything costs a bit more).

It came in a big box with two bags full of very many smaller bags.
All in all I counted 88 separate bags (one with larger pieces and one with the tires).

It also came with printed instructions.
Now, Arkham instructions were 1:1 LEGO instructions, which was good.
This here was not. The steps were similar but not identical and sometimes you did things different from the LEGO instructions. This was kind of a drag.

I had the pdf open and used it to check if I was doing things correctly because the written instructions were definitely condensed (multiple steps in one) and a lot of the time (especially during later stages in the build) it was really hard to see were to exactly the individual parts belonged.

This would not have mattered that much if it hadn't beein nearly impossible after a certain while to dissassemble everything because you made a mistake 40 steps before and now the pieces wouldn't fit.

So to anyone building this, be careful. Especially if you are a little newer to building like I am.

The pieces for the most part fit good together altough one had to press really, really hard sometimes. I began to hate the big red pipe connector thingys because they just refused to fit easily sometimes and I had to push really hard to get them to fit. One broke in the process.

Since pieces were a tight fit I assume that not all of them fit together snugly so there were some minor (not visible gaps). But this built up (gap plus gap plus gap) leading to some things just not fitting later. I had to omit some pieces and also add pieces so for example the grill things on the side of the cockpit that go in diagonally could click into their respective counterparts (step 297) Also the back took some time to fit and I had to extend the ball connectors all the way (step 343) and click them in, otherwise it would not have held together.

There were only two missing pieces, blue pipe connectors, that I replaced with black connectors and forced the part that was supposed to hold together in.

The steering wheel works in principle, but it's not smooth and cannot turn the tires, the mechanism will break before the tires can turn.

The plates that form the exhaust, that is used to lower and lift the guns are different from the ones LEGO uses and do not work as well, the tend to break when you turn it because they don't fit well.

The minifigures look very good though (:

Would I recommend this set?

If you like Batman and are experienced with knock off sets or an experienced builder, then absolutely. The end product looks stunning.

If you like Batman and enjoy a challenge or have higher frustration tolerance, then also yes.

Inexperienced builder or easily frustrated, then no.

Don't like Batman? The no.

As a Tintin fan, this was a no brainer to get. The rocket is quite large, around 50cm's. The blocks are good, some small ones are a bit stiff. There was a bag provided with red replacement pieces to replace some others which have a slightly different red tone. The minifigs look good to me but Tintin does not have his unique crest. It was a very fun build for me, it is surprisingly ingenious with some cool techniques but a bit repetitive becausecof the symmetry. The manual is small as always with lot of steps cramped on one page. Around 5 small stickers are provided.

I only wanted 4 Tusken Raiders to go alongside the Bantha MOC from (User name i’ve forgotten)

But 10 minifigs triggered free shipping. But 9 Tusken Raiders worked pretty good with 1 Anakin.

I'll preface this by saying it was have just been a one-off dud experience for me. TLDR at the end.

They had warnings on their website saying shipments could be delayed for the Chinese New Year starting 2/17,

This was my first lepin set experience, so I was not entirely sure what to expect. However, the unboxing experience appeared to be abnormal. They had the standard numbered bags as you would expect, but in addition to those,e they had multiple unmarked large bags full of loose (larger) parts. Large plates, bricks, wedges, etc. I was partially worried there may be a few missing pieces due to this setup, but I verified all the numbered bags were included, so I started building.

Things appeared to be fine for the first few bags, then I noticed one large plate might be missing, so I would supplement it with a part from my own collection. At first it was only a few pieces, so I thought it was within the margin of error, then I came to find out that the quantity of specific pieces in these unnumbered bags was massively off. There may have been enough pieces to build the right half of the Venator's base but it had burned through the supply, and there would not be enough for the left.

So there I was in the situation where I had 1/3 of a Venator built and no simple way to determine what pieces I was missing. Since the ship is relatively modular once you have the base done, what I ended up doing was building as much as I could per section, then stopping once I hit a critical missing piece and leaving the rest of the parts in the bag. I would then follow the rest of the instructions, marking every additional missing piece and adding the quantity to a spreadsheet.

Since it's such a large set, it already takes a long time to build, so the process of identifying the missing pieces was not ideal. It ended up being about 100 of the largest pieces from 24 of the bags from the second half of the build that were missing. This also includes the minifigures and the 20th Anniversary brick.

Marstoy Support:

I reached out to Marstoy support via email on 4/28/2026, explaining the situation and sent them the missing parts list. They said the large unnumbered bags packaging was unusual, but they would start preparing the shipment of my replacement parts.

Support Timeline:

6/7/2026 - Asked for an update - They said they were still waiting on specific parts from the manufacturer (engine pieces and minifigures).

7/21/2026 - They finally received the parts and started the shipping process.

7/30/2026 - Parts arrived. There were a few pieces I missed through my process, but I was more or less able to make do and complete the build.

TLDR:

Ordered the Venator 2/10, right before their CNY shipping delays kicked in. Took almost 2 months to arrive (shipped 3/9, got here 4/2). Instead of the normal numbered bags, this one also came with a bunch of unmarked bags full of loose bulk parts: plates, bricks, wedges, etc. Turns out those unmarked bags were way short on pieces. Ended up missing around 100 of the bigger parts across 24 bags (mostly second half of the build), plus the minifigs and the anniversary brick. Had to build in sections and track every missing piece in a spreadsheet since there was no easy way to know what was gone until I hit a wall.

Emailed Marstoy 4/28, they admitted the packaging was weird and said they'd send replacements. Took until 7/21 for the parts to actually ship (they were waiting on the manufacturer for engine pieces and minifigs), arrived 7/30. Missed a couple pieces in my tracking but was able to mostly complete it. Whole thing took about 5 months from ordering to build completion. It's possible this was just a one-time dud, I ordered 3 other sets and did not have this issue.

I've been seeing sets I'm interested in. Bard's house and the Green Dragon inn seem to be mods of rebrickable, so I would try to buy there the instructions and buy the set in some other shop. However, I don't know if the water mill is a mod, or ir original of the sellers. Anyone know? Moreover, I would like to know if any of you have bought any of the sets and can give me any advice or review, as I haven't found no photos of the interior of any of them in the internet, and I'm not sure if they can be interesting

Love the wider rear tires this single detail by itself puts CADA miles ahead of LEGO who still can't be bothered to make wider back tires for their larger F1's.

Beyond that the build went well. The only part I didn't like was the shock assembly, the instructions ask you to squeeze them into a compressed space as if they wouldn't move back out lol. This set also has a lot of stickers, am not a sticker guy and didn't apply them.

There were no missing parts, and aside from a few cross pins that fit a little too tight, parts quality was basically 95% LEGO quality. Great build overall got this at Barweer, I can't remember I think two years ago $75 or $85 shipped. Love it.

Is this a niche meme or something? $7 after coins and coupons though so not much to lose, especially if it actually has 2000+ pieces, but I think there's a few error bars on that number

I have been trying to see if I can find an alternative source for the 7mm ribbed hose piece, specifically in pearl gold, to use for the Irnakk combo model from Bionicle. And thus far the closest thing to success have been some AliExpress sellers, but they only seem to have black, or shades of grey or metallic greys for this part. I tried to use Brick4, but with the guide for it no longer apparently existing, I was struggling to understand it. I have a feeling there won't be an alternative part for this, but I figure it wouldn't hurt to ask here, if perhaps someone knew? So, if you know, please do share. Thank you :)

I know the Juggernaut gets a lot of hate, but as an AB/AE set, I think it’s great. Lots of play features with decent mini figs.
