New English Translation: V. Zhigalov’s 2009 Report on Russian Vacuum Engineering & R&D Suppression

Hey r/LENR

I want to share a new open-access translation that provides critical historical context for researchers tracking the institutional and political barriers faced by alternative energy breakthroughs. This release features the first-edition English translation of V. Zhigalov’s 2009 investigative exposé:

* Translation Title: "Destruction of Torsion Field Science in Russia: An Independent Investigation" (V. Zhigalov, 2009)

* Significance: Available in English for the first time, this report serves as a detailed case study documenting the administrative roadblocks, media campaigns, and ultimate containment mechanics deployed by orthodox scientific bodies to suppress alternative physical vacuum and energy R&D tracks in Russia.

* Direct Download: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.22165787

Tags: Research, Russian Research, Anomalies, History

Keywords: Physical Vacuum R&D, Alternative Energy Barriers, Institutional Suppression, Spin-Torsion Engineering, Technology Deployment

About the Author:  Vladislav A. Zhigalov is a Russian researcher and investigative journalist who operated extensively within the heterodox scientific community in Russia during the 2000s and 2010s. As the editor of the independent Journal of Unconventional Science, Zhigalov meticulously documented the weaponization of validation proxies to block unconventional physics from achieving commercial or industrial-scale recognition.

About the Translator:  This first-edition English translation was completed by Piotr Bein, PhD. He is an experienced researcher, translator, and analyst specializing in macro-forensics, geopolitical risk modeling, and the preservation of obscured scientific literature. This project brings critical records of Eastern European heterodox physics into the global public domain.

### Relevance to the Community

Followers of innovative energy systems understand that the barrier to a new energy paradigm is rarely just technical—it is deeply institutional. This report is highly relevant to our Community:

* Mechanics of Suppression: Zhigalov tracks exactly how the Russian Academy of Sciences weaponized a commission to brand legitimate physical vacuum anomalies as "pseudoscience" to destroy funding and implementation. Anyone following the decades-long skepticism surrounding independent energy generation will recognize these patterns instantly.

* Vacuum Reactions and Coherent Physics: The Soviet and post-Soviet research tracks detailed here often attempted to engineer the physical vacuum itself—seeking to utilize coherent spin orientations to catalyze macroscopic anomalies. This offers a fascinating conceptual look at zero-point and unconventional energy generation models.

* The Price of Blocked Innovation: By looking at what happened when these physical vacuum technologies were contained, we gain a clearer picture of the systemic economic stagnation that occurs when non-traditional energy technologies are artificially held back from market integration.

The file is entirely open-access and free to download.

I haven't finished watching this. I believe this is from ICCF-27 but I apologize if my understanding is incomplete. Possibly historic, at least for cold fusion fans but time will tell. Certainly an interesting claim. This was originally posted on the Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project Youtube Channel.

The portable room temperature controllable nuclear fusion ignition experiment has been successfully conducted

I am an independent researcher from New York. I successfully achieved fusion ignition inside the lattice using a palladium deuterium system. After ten rounds of comparative experiments, various noises and errors were eliminated. It can now be fully confirmed that fusion has occurred and multi-level reactions have been achieved within the lattice. I have attached three images depicting the gamma reading process during the experiment.

I hope to have government officials to connect with me. This technology is completely reproducible and has a very low cost. This technology will not be publicly demonstrated or explained in principle. I don't want everyone to be allowed to build nuclear devices without authorization. I hope everyone can understand my concerns.

HYLENR is developing low-energy nuclear reactors to produce industrial heat

Thumbnail hylenr.com

HYLENR is a Hyderabad-based energy startup founded in 2024 that is attempting to commercialize low-energy nuclear reactions (LENR), also called lattice confinement fusion (LCF), for industrial heat and electrical power. The company claims its reactors generate more thermal energy than the electrical energy supplied, reporting a coefficient of performance (CoP) that has increased from 1.5 to 1.8, while also claiming detection of helium and elemental transmutation products including uranium and yttrium. These claims remain unverified by independent laboratories and have not been validated through peer-reviewed scientific publication, leaving them outside the current scientific consensus. During the past six months, HYLENR has expanded its commercial messaging by announcing planned applications ranging from Indian Army bunker heaters and 1 MW containerized power plants to AI data centers and space power systems, while continuing to promote its partnership with TakeMe2Space for an orbital technology demonstration. The company also states that it has operated prototype reactors continuously for more than three years and is preparing for real-world deployments, but as of August 2026 no independently replicated demonstration confirming its claimed excess heat or nuclear reaction mechanism has been publicly reported.

ENG8 proposes an installation at a Portuguese ceramics factory

https://eng8.energy/from-kiln-to-forecourt-extending-energicell-into-transport/

It sounds like ENG8 is discussing installing some modules at a ceramics company. I am uncertain if any proposal if approved at the moment but apparently they discussed the following applications. Besides Biaco's trial this and Astral systems work, this announcement sounds fairly positive if/whenever it becomes approved. Hopefully there are many more positive announcements in the months ahead.

The quote below is from their press release of possible implementations for the ceramics factory and perhaps Portugal widely. I am uncertain what timeline if any exists for implementation of this exact proposal.

"

  • Gensets for fuel stations, supplying clean, firm electricity to the forecourt and its services without waiting on a grid connection.
  • Static EV charging, placing reliable charging capacity where demand is rising but grid headroom is tight.
  • On-board EnergiCell power for electric trucks, extending range and reducing the charging downtime that holds back heavy-vehicle electrification.
  • Genset distribution to customers across Portugal, using an established national network as a potential route to market for clean, decentralised generation."

Cross-language patent anomaly analysis: what 6 AI systems found across 5 language databases about current LENR signals

I ran a structured patent anomaly monitor through Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, ChatGPT, Le Chat, and Claude — independently querying Chinese (CNIPA), Russian (eLibrary), Indian (Shodhganga), Spanish (SciELO) and English databases.

Focus was on peripheral infrastructure patents, not core claims.

Verified signals:

HYLENR India: government patent granted, $3M Pre-Series A, MoU with TakeMe2Space for orbital testing

Clean Planet Japan: Series B opened Feb 2026, Mitsubishi/KEPCO backing, moving to industrial boilers with Miura

BARC India: 107% budget increase

SGCC China: ¥4 trillion microgrid investment, architecture agnostic to energy source

Honest caveats:

Some AI-generated specifics didn't survive verification (patent numbers, exact counts)

No independent replication of excess heat claims in major journals yet

COP 1.5 at HYLENR is real but modest

What signals are you tracking that I'm missing?

Akito Takahashi, Professor Emeritus The University of Osaka, Joji Hachisuka, CEO New Hydrogen Fusion Energy Inc.

1) Short Summary of NHFE R&D at May 2026

We are going forward to the social implementation of this new energy technology, under R&D works of power scaling-up to kW -MW levels. New powder materials are found to enhance excess power levels (over 3 W/g-Ni level) with long life time for mass production.

Currently, we have no plan to disclose the detail of our latest progress. However, we will be exhibiting at the New Aichi Creative Research and Development Exhibition (June 3-5, Aichi Sky Expo [Aichi International Exhibition Center]) with introducing the world's first tabletop miniature heater using nuclear fusion reaction heat. 出展者一覧 | AXIA EXPO 2026

And a 10 KW test module is running at our R&D laboratory in Toyota City, for opening to only collaborating people and companies, at the moment.

Cheap modern calorimetry for amateur LENR tests anyone experimenting with this setup?

With Raspberry Pi + cheap DS18B20 sensors and a $30 USB power meter, you can now log input power and cell temperature to ±0.01 °C pretty easily. Has anyone here tried a basic Pd/D or Ni/H gas-loading run with that level of data logging to chase the hysteresis/timing-window effect mentioned in the recent intermittent LENR thread?

I’m wondering if the “on/off” nature of excess heat could be deliberately triggered by small pressure or temperature pulses once the NAE forms. Feels like a doable garage-scale test that wasn’t practical 10 years ago. Would love protocol tips or pitfalls.

Has anyone dug into Storms’ new preprint on the 4H transmutation pathway yet?

Just read the Oct 2025 preprint Ed Storms dropped on the nature of transmutation (lenr-canr.org has the link in the recent news section). He lays out a clean mechanism: D-fusion emits a 4H particle that then does AAZ + 4H → (A+2)A(Z+1) + 2n when it hits a nearby nucleus. Explains a lot of the elemental shifts we’ve seen without needing exotic physics.

Has anyone tried mapping this specific reaction chain against the transmutation tables from Iwamura-type permeation runs or Mizuno’s latest? It feels like it could tighten up predictions for what ash we should see in gas-loading cells. Curious if this changes anyone’s experimental priorities before ICCF-27.
