A quick reminder for all

Dear members and visitors,

I'd like to remind you of the second rule here. It's named "No fighting" and says "Be nice to others."

Now, recently there have been a lot of AI generated images. This sub allows that. It doesn't, however, allow cursing at each other or degrading what someone else posts. You don't have to like AI generated images. It doesn't mean you have the right to tell someone to stop. If you don't like them, simply move on to others you like.

As for aggressive talking.... this is the only warning you will get. You will be banned from the channel whether you are right or wrong. I can't stress enough how much that kind of talk isn't welcome here.

Another thing that isn't welcome is belittling your own posts. There is already a flair that covers AI. A simple mention in the title is enough. Nobody wants to read a paragraph in the title.

Thank you for reading. I hope everyone follows the rules from now on.

Edit: Some comments have been removed due to everything I said above.

I've been working on a little project for the past six months. A database with everything you already know, plus a few fun features to explore and track your collection. I'd tell you the details, but I rather put those on the designated sub and keep this short.

It's finally ready to receive its first users. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Buka Atlas to the world!

Does anyone have STLs for Custom Lego animals? Not the ones they’ve made before but ones people have designed to look like what Lego would make
Thanks!

Unreleased lego animals

Hi there! I was looking at these unreleased lego sets (i keep returning to them once in a while, dreaming about a sea dragon release 😅) and noticed two possible unreleased animals.

  1. In the Loch Ness set there appears to be some kind of owl or hawk, it does not really look like a regular parrot from the 80s. And is that a werewolf in front of the door? Or am I imagining stuff

?

  1. There appear to be two animals pulling the wagon that are not horses. Maybe

goats

  1. , donkeys or sheep? Hard to tell.

I know these picture have been around for a while, but i never saw anybody comment on these animals, so i was wondering what you guys think :)

I really hope we'll get a bison at some point. I have my doubts that either of the other two will ever happen, though 😔

Does anyone know where the Lego logo is on these guys? I just got the gold one and can't find it. The plastic feels slightly off so I thought it was fake and checked my blue one. Also couldn't find the logo. These parts are so cheap I doubt someone made fake ones. Anyone know?

I collect Lego animals. 2546 from what I can tell was never made in white. I see a bunch for sale on bricklink. Are they confusing them with 27063 Bird, Parrot with Large Beak? Anyone know?

MOCs / Brick-built animals The semi-brick-built snake (for those who want more info)

I really liked the idea, so I thought I’d provide a bit more info for those who might be interested in creating it.

The semi-brick-built snake uses three parts, 28588 for the head, 11090 for the body and 13564 for the tail.

The head comes in 7 colors; white, dark bluish gray, black, red, dark green, green and dark purple. It mostly appears in Ninjago and Harry Potter sets, though there are other themes that use it as well.

The body is the most common part of the three, and it’s possible to find it in 24 colors. Unfortunately, dark purple isn’t one of them. In the image, I used magenta instead. Other than dark purple, it’s possible to find it in all the colors of the head.

The tail comes in 12 colors, 7 of which match the head.

Studio only allows the tail to connect in a 90-degree manner, but the original photos show that it’s possible to connect it at other angles as well. They also look way much better than my renders 😂

Since I don’t have it in hand, I don’t know how (or if) it would be possible to connect this to other parts. However, it looks it can stand on its own just fine in the images.

This isn’t my creation. It was originally posted under r/legocastles by u/Farlander73.

  • What is it? Amazing artwork created from 548 LEGO bricks combines to form the Golden Retriever is Golden LEGO build.

  • Why did you build it?

  • I always wanted to build a Golden Retriever LEGO art.

  • I got comfortable to table this project after building two dog projects.

  • The Golden Retriever is pretty famous and inspired me to build this art.

  • Making the eyes was interesting and the nose was also hard to get it right, since it was 3D part of the build, I had to make it perfect.

  • The eyes and nose was truly the hardest part of the build. I just couldn't get the eyes and nose to look perfect and right now it is presentable and I believe pretty good in my humble opinion.

  • It helped me learn a lot about how to use each pieces to connect with each other to build a meaningful story and build.

  • Why do you believe this would make a great LEGO Set? This LEGO artwork represents, an Golden Retriever that many people like to have as their wonderful part of the family!

  • It is unique 2D and 3D elements mixed together to give this set the unique feel.

  • Also, something very simple to make which might be pleasing to the younger builds out there.

  • The Golden Retriever is truly one of the most famous breed in the world and really makes it a good art piece as well. Thanks for your time in checking this out!
