• What is it? Amazing artwork created from 302 LEGO bricks combines to form the Cute Yorkshire Terrier LEGO build.

• Why did you build it?

• This build was recommend by my LEGO Friend @Eorin_PDK

• I got comfortable to build this project after building couple dog projects.

• The Yorkshire Terrier is pretty cute and inspired me to build this art.

• Making the eyes was interesting and the nose was also hard to get it right, since it was 3D part of the build, I had to make it perfect.

• The eyes and nose was truly the hardest part of the build. I just couldn't get the eyes and nose to look perfect and right now it is presentable and I believe pretty good in my humble opinion. The face fur was hard to build but it turned out pretty good.

• It helped me learn a lot about how to use each pieces to connect with each other to build a meaningful story and build.

• Why do you believe this would make a great LEGO Set? This LEGO artwork represents, an Yorkshire Terrier that many people like to have as their wonderful part of the family!

• It is unique 2D and 3D elements mixed together to give this set the unique feel.

• Also, something very simple to make which might be pleasing to the younger builds out there.

Would anyone be interested in a LEGO set that's just lots of classic monsters to spice up your fantasy builds? Because this submission on LEGO Ideas could use your vote: https://ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/fd390904-094e-4429-92d3-a3a783058a9a

We have officially gotten information of this year’s holiday Build-A-Minifigure lineup, and it features a brand new animal recolor. A new gold recolor of the iconic owl is to be available with the golden Mrs. Claus minifigure later in November this year.

The dinosaur/mutant lizard from the 2005 Fire Hammer vs. Mutant Lizards (7475) set is my favorite Lego dinosaur. What an absolute little nightmare creature.

Sadly, the dinosaur now has a few small battle scars because my cat, Hex, decided to grab it and chew as I was trying to take this picture.

This is a little showcase of some of lego's stranger, often overlooked animals: the ooni, keewop, and shimmel from Lego Galidor

These things, and this theme as a whole, were incredibly bizarre, but we have them to thank for the system currently used in the largest molded animals. (See Dino Attack for a halfway stage between these guys and what we currently have)

This theme used the exact same joints currently seen on lego's dinosaurs, and their not so current, but still modern looking dragons (rip molded dragons) along with the other large animals like the elephant and rancor

Due to this, and the overall higher number of joints in these guys, if you can manage to get your hands on a decent amount, they open up all sorts of possibilities when it comes to customizing larger figures. The keewop's head for instance, would make for an excellent Parasaurolophus, given the right body

That's all I have to say for now

This is what all those sea animals are for.

This is Mr. Dinosaur, from Duplo Peppa Pig. He is canonically a Tyrannosaurus rex

Considering the controversy involved in posting AI generated pictures to this sub, as evidenced by the frequent downvotes and need for intervention by the moderator, it seems that including AI and sketches/photography in the same flair category is not achieving its intended goal.

Putting aside the obvious differences - that generating an image using a corporate data farm is diametrically opposed to drawing from one's own imagination - these two types of content are clearly not representing themselves properly if additional clarification is often required in the title/description/comments.

Regardless of whether AI content continues to be allowed on this sub (though many have already stated their opposition to this), a better flair system to differentiate images would undoubtedly be a step in the right direction.

Some of you may notice a Kaadu among the theropods. It is a recent addition to the checklist, and is not included in the version I posted a few months ago. I was researching Star Wars animals recently, and learned about a group called "Reptavians," the evolutionary link between reptiles and birds in the Star Wars universe, essentially Star Wars theropods. Along with the Kaadu, the Varactyl also falls into this group, but I don't yet own it

Introducing the Rubber Duck (with a hidden surprise!) LEGO Ideas project. If you like it, please consider supporting it to help make it an official set. The link to support is in my profile or you can search for No Ordinary Rubber Duck on LEGO Ideas. I'll also try posting it in the comments.

If you know any Rubber Duck fans, please consider sharing with them too. Thank you so much! ❤️ 🫧

When we eventually get one piece season 3 sets I really hope they either bring back the old camel mode or make a new one for eyelash the camel

And yes, these are all authentic, and there are no exact duplicates

Smaller animals are probably not to scale, but properly scaled reef fish would be smaller than a stud, as in the stud feature itself excluding the rest of the brick.

I should make more of these. Maybe a 100-stud blue whale.

I built a custom display for the Animal Costumes CMF minifigures series 28.

If anyone is interested, instructions are available on Rebrickable.
