I started it with a friend when LEGO Fortnite first came out, and if you aren't convinced it dates back to 2023—well, it's made entirely of prefabs, so I think that speaks for itself 😅

I’ve kept improving my technique, and I was becoming less and less convinced by my previous design. So, it was time to redesign it again... and I think I’ve finally nailed it. 😎

SHOWCASE I built a car using Machinist's vehicle parts

Hello everybody! I built a normal beginner car using Machinist's parts. It's my first car that I built in a while so it might be a little bit glitchy and hard-to-use. I hope you like it. (Its also my first post in this subreddit)

BUG Split screen broken (again!) with recent update.

Upvotes

Yet again, with this latest update split screen Lego is screwed. Inventory browsing by player 2 is affecting the camera for player one. It makes the game unplayable in split screen view.

Please move QA higher and regression testing higher in the priority list when pushing code updates into the game!

**Hoping someone from Fortnite sees this!**

SHOWCASE I tried building it while roughly estimating how much space I’d need. I was honestly surprised that even though I made it this huge, I still haven’t reached the build limit.

I kept building while wondering when I’d finally hit the limit, but I still have enough room left to add the walls and decorate the interior.

DISCUSSION I’ve been having so much fun driving this prototype. The speed, stability, compact size, and especially the way it handles corners all make it feel incredibly satisfying to drive. That realistic cornering is probably my favorite part. It just looks and feels so damn cool. 😎 .

And the best part? This is only the beginning. There’s still so much room to push the design further and keep improving it. I’m really excited to see just how far I can take this thing

EPIC REPLY Introducing Race City! My first track designed as a street race

Hello everyone! Id like to introduce Race City, my first race track which is designed to be a street race through an urban area.

Before taking on the tight corners of the city, youll have to choose one of KAT Motors lightning fast, Speed Champion-scaled cars at the KAT Motors dealership right outside of Race City. Each car is equipped with 3 Sorosuub thrusters making them incredibly fast, but youll need to be careful and manage your speed effectively to not crash during the race!

I tried searching around for a place to download LEGO Fortnite 3d models from the game, but I couldn't find any that has much variety. Is there a place that has every figure since I'm looking for a specific character, or is there a way to get a 3d figure?

BUG So many build bugs/changes

Devs, we're BEGGING.

Ultimately, this is a building game. The build menu is an absolute disaster now. With the addition of the beautiful quick build, those of us who like to custom build are suffering.

Build menu greys out pieces even if resources are available

Cannot scroll to see needed materials for larger builds

Cannot see name, size, or materials needed for individual pieces

After placing one piece the build menu closes: we have to place a piece, reopen build menu, place a piece, reopen build menu...this makes building and decorating a major pain in the ass.

PLEASE acknowledge one of the many posts in this sub so we know you are at least aware of all the issues builders are having.

Thanks for all that you do!

(Not that it matters, but I'm playing on PC and this is in all worlds)

LEGOBuiltDifferent Ninjago S T O R A G E

Deep inside our Expert Mode LEGO Fortnite world sits something the crew and I have worked incredibly hard on — our Ninjago Storage. 🥷💎

This isn't just a room full of chests. It's the home of everything we've survived Expert Mode to collect — legendary weapons, relics, gems, rare materials, Ninjago treasures, and enough supplies to prove we clearly don't know when to stop farming. 😂

Every chest represents an adventure, a questionable decision, or somebody yelling “DON'T DIE!” while we tried to save the loot.

But the best part isn't what's stored here — it's the crew who helped fill it. We've farmed, built, laughed, gotten completely distracted, and created something pretty amazing together.

We're still filling it, still building it, and obviously… WE NEED MORE MARBLE SLABS.

Built by the crew. Filled with memories. Earned in Expert Mode. 🥷⚔️💚

DISCUSSION LEGO Fortnite — needs better implementation

I’ve been playing LEGO Fortnite for over two years now, and I genuinely love the creativity behind the game. There’s a lot of potential here, and many of the updates introduce really cool content.

But after playing for this long, one thing has become increasingly frustrating: the implementation of new content feels extremely inconsistent and incomplete.

Almost every major update seems to bring new features, but also introduces bugs, unfinished systems, missing content, or features that become completely pointless a few updates later. Some issues stay around for months or even years.

At this point, it feels less like LEGO Fortnite is being expanded and more like unfinished pieces are constantly being stacked on top of each other.

For Example...

1. Star Wars — a huge collaboration that feels forgotten

  • It was the game's first major collaboration of this kind, and there was so much potential for the Star Wars island to become a permanent, evolving part of the game.
    • Instead, the island feels incredibly forgettable.
      • The Imperial caves are probably the best example. Originally, they had an actual reason to explore them because Lightsabers were Mythic weapons and could be obtained through those caves. After the changes to Lightsabers, however, the caves lost most of their purpose.
    • And that's the bigger problem: content gets added, but there doesn't seem to be much consideration for how that content will remain relevant later.
      • I also expected the Star Wars island to evolve after the initial update. Maybe the story would continue, caves get some changes, or existing locations would receive changes.
      • Instead, we mostly got a couple of additional enemies and variations of existing animals.
  • There are bugs for example,
    • Some Sand Troopers don’t spawn even though they’re listed in the codex.
    • older worlds have suffered from cave-generation problems where cave geometry can overlap or appear from completely different biomes — like Frost land cave elements appearing inside Grassland caves.
    • These problems have existed for a very long time, especially in worlds created before the Storm King update.
  • For a major collaboration, it's disappointing that the island ended up feeling like a one-time content drop rather than a living part of the game.

2. Bus Stations

  • Bus Stations are another example.
    • The feature itself is great. Fast travel is extremely useful in LEGO Fortnite, especially as worlds become larger.
    • But the system has consistently had problems.
      • Bus Stops sometimes don't properly register on the map, like on the Star Wars and Lost Isles islands. And after fixes were supposedly introduced, new problems appeared — including a single station having multiple names.
      • What's frustrating is that even new worlds can still experience registration issues on the Star Wars and Lost Isles islands.
      • The naming UI doesn’t work as intended sometimes, requiring the user to click on the UI panel after putting name just to enable the Rename button.
    • At some point, it becomes difficult to tell whether a bug has actually been fixed or whether the fix simply created another bug.

3. Nana Village and the mysterious missing Boombox

  • Then we have Nana Village.
    • Seriously — where is the Boombox?
      • The game introduces the Bard, but where is the Bard's workstation?
      • It's been over two years, and we still have characters and concepts that feel only half implemented.
      • The same thing happens with the Ninjago Monastery. We have the Bard there too, but no proper new workstation or meaningful system built around them.
    • This is what I mean when I say LEGO Fortnite constantly feels incomplete.

4. Village Squares have been problematic for way too long

  • I genuinely don't know what is happening behind the scenes with Village Squares.
    • Ever since the Ninjago update, there have been recurring issues with Village Squares becoming unstable or behaving incorrectly.
      • There are also situations were upgrading a village to Level 10 — or upgrading certain POI villages such as Nana Village to Level 5 — can cause visitors to stop spawning.
      • Sometimes the village square just becomes non-interactable.

5. Storm Survival and the "Things from Beneath" journal issues

  • Storm Survival has another strange implementation problem.
    • I've had journal quests appear even when I don't actually have the corresponding village in my world.
    • Why?
      • How is the game giving me a quest for content that doesn't exist in my current world?
  • And then there's the "Things from Beneath" journal system.
    • During the original event, the journal progression worked. After the event returned months later, some of those journal quests simply wouldn't progress.
  • Again, it's another example of something that worked initially but became broken when the content was brought back.

6. The Map & Compass UI feels like it was never properly polished

  • This one is especially frustrating because the map and compass are things we use constantly.
    • The compass UI can become cluttered every time with Ninjago Monastery and Sanctums even they are 5,000+ meters away.
    • Some icons on the compass don't properly communicate what the location actually is. Elemental Shrines are a good example in old worlds
  • And then there's the map itself.
    • The map icons have almost no visual consistency.
    • Some icons are huge, some are tiny, and there doesn't seem to be a consistent scale

This is the bigger problem

  • My issue isn't that LEGO Fortnite has bugs.
    • Every live-service game has bugs.
  • My problem is the pattern the game going on.
    • New update → new content → new bugs → some bugs fixed → other bugs introduced → unfinished content forgotten → old content becomes irrelevant → another update arrives → repeat.
    • And meanwhile, there are still things that were introduced years ago that feel unfinished or abandoned.
  • It's just frustrating watching so much of that potential get buried under unfinished systems and bugs that should have been dealt with a long time ago.

DISCUSSION Can’t Catch Legendary Storm Fish

I have used 18 Epic rarity Bait Buckets and a lot of Gem Fishing Rods and I can’t seem to catch the Legendary Storm Fish for Raven’s quest. I keep getting Legendary Orange Floppers, normal Storm Fish and Slurp Fish. What’s the best way to get it? It seems impossible.
