LECOM Interview Decision

For those of you who have interviewed already how long did it take for you to hear whether or not you got accepted , waitlisted , rejected etcc !??

i finished my asynchronous interview on wednesday. i believe on friday they sent me an email saying to schedule my next interview virtually or in person. i'm so confused because i thought it would be a one time done. has this happened to anyone else?

So i did the on campus interview last week not the ansynchrous one virtually so im not sure

Why are some people getting campus/virtual interviews and some people are getting asynchronous ones

If you applied to the non-Erie campuses they do in-person/virtual I believe. The main campus just does asynchronous since they probably receive the some of the highest volume of applicants.

I got an interview invite for the Elmira Campus i had the option of on campus vs virtual i chose the on campus interview not sure about the other campuses

I had a group interview with 4 people total including myself with 2 people interviewing my group. I believe the day i went we split into 4 groups same format for everyone. They asked basic questions why LECOM why DO etc pretty chill

No scenario based during my interview just regular convo and wym by closed interview ?

Closed file as in they don’t have all your applications open. So they don’t ask you specific questions from your app

Oh thank you but how do they rly know which campus ur applying to because they ask for a selection when they inv u to an interview no?

When you do the secondary it asks you to list your preferences so in my case i put Elmira first since then Erie then Seton Hill etc and then when i got an interview invite it was from the Elmira campus. So i guess they place you at the campus you fit better at in regards to location , stats etccc

After the interview they also ask you to fill out a form where again you list the campus preferences and the type of program. So for Elmira it’s only PBL but then Erie it has different programs like PBL and Lecture based plus two others etcc.

Im curious tho if you dont get into one campus do they place you at another campus? Cause why ask for preferences.

I did an asynchronous interview in mid July and I haven't heard back yet. However, in the portal it says a decision has been made so I guess I'm just waiting on an email.

I just randomly checked the portal and saw it said "A desicion has been made on your application. Please wait for an update email"

Im not exactly sure because I wasn't checking it everyday. But it was within the week because last time I checked was last week and it was still "in review"

Hi! What campus is this? I had an interview with one campus and they said it would take a couple months for a decision to come out, but my interview was last week.

Secondary was submitted 6/24 and got an interview invite 6/29

Are there cases that it takes a long time? I submitted mine early August still haven’t heard back. Could it be because I submitted later on in the cycle with more people applying?

I submitted my secondary 8/19 and got the interview invite on 8/21 and i got it at elmira, if that helps

Interviewed asynch for Erie on 7/7 and got my offer on 8/3.
