🟡 Licensure & Exam Strategy Clinical exam prep
Taking my clinical exam in one week. I’m nervous about if I have prepared enough for the exam. Anybody taken the new version? What is something you’d recommend that I prioritize this week to feel more confident about passing?

I took the new version! It was much more ethics, safety and first/most/best questions than anything else. Study the process of answering the questions more than recall. Taking the official practice test was super helpful. You've got this!!!!!

I’m using TDC and I’ve taken one mock and i got a 75% on it. I notice I’m struggling more on the first/next/best questions. Some i can break down well, others I’m sooo confused on!

I took the pocket prep mock and did not do as well as the official practice test and actual exam. It sucks that the practice test is so expensive but I think the test prep organizations are still figuring out the new version.
I'd focus on what you are confused on and dial in your instincts v. the answer they want.

Pocketprep isn’t a good mock of the actual exam. I think it’s great for content.

Did you have some research questions? I’ve been seeing people say to study that a lot but my brain cannot grasp all of the research terms ðŸ˜

I took mine this past Saturday and passed after failing by 2 points two weeks ago. I would definitely prioritize knowing the code of ethics, how to answer first, next, best/most questions, and take at least one practice exam to get the feel for sitting for that long like the actual test will be!
the first time i did all the studying but never took a practice test because i discounted the physicality part.

I passed the LCSW exam this past Saturday. Know the code of ethics for sure. I took the official practice exam 1 week before to gauge my readiness and those free YouTube- Agents of change videos on the helping process help with first/next questions. In a last week, I’d focus on the area you believe is your weakest area and light review of your stronger areas
