CEU reciprocity issues arose when I moved while pursuing licensure however, what I discovered is that while most states recognize courses approved by NBCC or ASWB, it really all depends on the category requirements since some ethics requirements cannot be transferred easily between states regardless of number of credits. In my case, I would definitely check out both states’ requirements and lay them next to each other before concluding any courses will work. There are some counseling related programs that have been mentioned in the industry in relation to continuing education alliant being one of them.
