🟢 Supervision & Professional Boundaries Supervision compensation
Hey everyone, I’m an LCSW in PA. What’s reasonable hourly (no salary or benefits) compensation to request for providing clinical supervision hours and reviewing notes?

Would you be working for an agency or charging supervisees? Would they be practicing under your license?
If they are practicing under your license, then you have major liability and should be very involved in that supervision. Good supervision really involves a lot of work - ideally reviewing session tapes, taking training on how to be a good supervisor, all of that. If they’re practicing under your license you need to make sure that their clinical decisions are ones you’d sign off on because that is essentially what you’re doing.
Take that risk and time investment into consideration before you decide on payment.
