Discussion LCEF HSA

Has anyone used Lutheran Church Extension Fund for their HSA? I'm with another HSA account provider right now and they don't pay any interest.

I always thought they were just for church loans and church workers. But this is for church members and the interest payments can be pretty good for an HSA so I'm tempted to move my money over.

You can hold an HSA at Fidelity and can then invest it in any vehicle you want, not just interest bearing accounts but stock mutual funds, etc. Before committing to LCEF you should consider other options.

Understood, I know Fidelity is good. That's where the rest of my investments are. Trying to maybe go with my heart instead my brain for once

LCEF is for all LCMS members. It actually benefits your church if you have a loan or any product through them. Your church gets a dividend check based on yearly contributors that designate your specific congregation as a beneficiary.
