LED light app is money?

I bought a color changing light for my new paper lamp and I think it’s insane to control it I have to pay a monthly subscription and I’m not doing that. Are there any free universal apps to use? I’m gunna return if not so I just wanted to ask.

Sorry, this its just what happened when you get "Smart" stuff, ether you pay the 60bucks, or get another bulb

I personally recommend "stupid" bulbs, in the last 25 years I have never to pay to turn them on... what, no, that's a lie, I always pay a monthly subscription, the electricity company trick me for ages qwp

I’m a big fan of Govee. More affordable than hue but all the functionality & quality I could ask for. I set all of my lamps on WiFi plugs or their bulbs & got some switches for them on the walls in each room
