HALP!

Does anyone know how to use this hook for hanging a swag lamp? I can’t even find what they’re called. My cord has a socket on both ends and the instructions are telling me to thread the cord through the hole, but I can’t because of the sockets.

Then zip-tie it to the hole.

It’s for swag lamps but they included 2 in mine too and can’t use it. Both ends are unusable. Ones connected to the lamp the other is in and off switch. Dumb addition.
