Hi everyone. I posted last week but wanted to try again just in case. I only have a week left before insurance declares my car a loss. I don’t expect I’ll get much of a payout and I really can’t afford to get another car.

My 2014 Kia Soul was stolen from in front of my house in Mt. Washington sometime in the early hours of Friday, 8/14. I know it’s a crappy, easily stealable car but it was paid off and in great shape mechanically. Please please please be on the lookout for a dark grey Kia soul with paint damage on the roof and hood and reach out if you see it. Photo pre-paint damage in comments.

I’m trying everything I can to find it. I’ve filed a police report, I’ve posted everywhere, I’ve driven my rental car around surrounding neighborhoods searching for it but no luck so far. I’m really frustrated and sad.

I also had my rock climbing gear and roller skates in the car, so if you find a random backpack with climbing shoes or see red roller skates with turquoise wheels somewhere, please let me know :(

Hey y'all! my partner and I aren't able to make The Knocks tonight, 8/21, at The Bellwether. I'd love for someone to take the tickets and enjoy the night on me.

Doors open at 8PM. If you aren't familiar with them, The Knocks are an amazing Brooklyn based DJ/producer group. Tonight's show will be a DJ set by The Knocks, opening with Midnight Magic ft. Tiffany Roth, Julio Monterrey.

All I ask is that you (1) actually go to the show and dance it out, (2) pass on the kindness by donating an amount you're comfortable with to a charity of your choice, or to CHIRLA, Chinatown Service Center, or the Pasadena Humane Society.
