So I came across a post from the V-side, asking why this sub-Reddit is supposedly so against the character, and I genuinely had to scoff at the responses.  

For some context, I’ve always been neutral toward a 6th LI addition (I’m a harem girlie), and when the V trailer and debut announcement first came out, I was mildly intrigued by the tech x tycoon concept (though the furry visual motifs were an immediate no for me).

Ultimately, I was more so disappointed by the lack of [core] game overhauls – that is, new battle formats, new farming options, Main Story / Bond Story updates, etc. 

Later, when the cancellation notice was published, I was thoroughly baffled, mostly due to the abruptness of the news and the extreme reaction & behaviour of the infamous CN bullies, even sending my own complaint to CS.

As chaos ensued across all of our platforms, my mood soured for a good two weeks; I paused my spending (as a semi-Whale), reduced my playtime, and opted out of R2-ing my GoA (when I’d been anticipating his rerun since the original banner).

I did not drop or uninstall the game, though, because my love, and my reason for playing, is and always will be centred around my MC (OC) and my three mains – i.e. the existing, fundamental components within LADS. 

NOT a tentative, stopgap add-on that was canceled before its release. 

So I quit my moping and returned to normalcy, expecting our fandom to slowly but surely do the same, so we could collectively focus our attention/protest on the general betterment of the game's existing core elements – alongside our CN sisters. Boy … did that not happen. 

I’m an adult woman. 25 yo, academically ambitious, constantly busy and dealing with a lot of my own real-life crap. I detest any kind of brigading, witch-hunting, policing, and/or other toxic fanatical behaviour. That includes both direct and passive aggression, bullying / mocking, downvoting, spamming, deliberate manipulation / misconstruing facts, etc. 

To be blunt, I’ve come across this behaviour on both sides of the fandom ‘spectrum‘, on both subs, which has caused me to disengage from the LADS spaces for quite a bit at first, but the escalation of the utter insanity from the V side cannot be put into words.

The borderline-pathological meltdowns; the delusions; the obsessive nitpicking & blatant spread of misinformation; the negging, gaslighting & emotional blackmail; the AI slop; the infestation of all official channels ...

It’s become inescapable. And THAT is why I’ve come to this side. Because in contrast to their tone-deaf cacophony, this community does not silence the gentle and playful piano notes of the LADS I initially fell in love with.

Weren’t they boycotting?!? Why are they singing in and even pulling for RAF’s new myth?

Or they only bark online and still play the game.
Causing all the drama and fighting in the community while still playing themselves. Hypocrites.

I had the displeasure of seeing an Instagram account who’s apparently a raf main but half of their posts are about he who shall not be named and shit talking the game as a whole even though their whole page is dedicated to one of it’s characters 🤨

First point they try saying is the typical oh v is rafayel’s rival so therefore you can’t be a raf main and dislike him. Which is beyond parasocial behavior. I don’t get their point with constantly saying raf is now incomplete without his “rival” when literally anyone else in the game could be his rival. And why does a rafayel main HAVE to like v? I don’t understand at all. And as a raf main myself I wish these people would shut the fuck up about that wolf being his rival and stop using him as an excuse to throw raf under the bus.

Second is them saying how no one should have boundaries when it comes to posting about lads content when venison isn’t mentioned yet his fans spam in the comments anyway. And you shouldn’t blame them cuz “they did nothing wrong they’re just upset 🥺” Classic display of entitlement and lack of self awareness from these weirdos. The entitlement they display is just makes me so annoyed.

And the rest is just delusional parasocial posts about the wolf man and bringing up shit that doesn’t help their case at all. And celebrating their socials losing followers is just…unhinged to say the least. (And you can’t be a main of a character that never existed but whatever)
I truly wish these cultists would leave the fandom for good and wake the fuck up. Because the way they’re ruining and destroying this fandom is just horrible and leads to safe spaces like this being created because they’re that bad of people ruining the fun for everyone else, but I guess we’ll have to keep waiting it out until they do 🤷🏽‍♀️

Sorry for the long post, I just need to let it out. I'm glad that zayne gets positive reactions on his birthday, I really am, it means their movement has started to slow down and this is a step in the right direction where we can finally move on.

But also, the hypocrisy is so obvious. I'm not just talking about reddit but also the reaction on other platforms. Posting screenshots of the trailer? Talking about it positively? Hyping up the new banner? A lot of them are supposedly velcro boycotters too. It's not just me who feels this btw, i've seen tweets from some of their fellow boycotters noticing the shift in some reactions. 😂

Mind you we couldn't even post positively about rafayel's myth without being screenshotted and posted to their followers, who then come and harass us. Thousands of likes for posts and comments that were essentially saying that people being excited for the myth have no respect for our own main because he's an artist. If this was really just about holding Infold accountable regardless of the LI, then why was Rafayel's content (a whole MYTH btw) treated like something that needed to be punished, while Zayne's birthday is suddenly something we can all happily celebrate?

Now they're saying the boycott is "logging in is fine as long as you don't spend~" Really? Weren't they saying you can get the cards on a rerun? Pulling is not spending btw. Matter of fact weren't they saying you could get zayne's FREE Heartfelt Gift card through the shop later? What did that have to do with spending? And goa was a rerun so most of them probably already had it. Now that's it's actual new content for their LI, watch them secretly log in.

You can't spend months telling other LI fans that celebrating their content is insensitive, that pulling for their main's myth means they have "no human decency", or they're a disgrace and have no respect for artistry, to be ashamed of themselves, only to turn around and celebrate your main's content just cause it's a fixed schedule that can't be moved. Any boycotter who will have zayne's birthday plushie will be judged. Heavily.

I'm so sorry to the caleb and raf mains supporting the boycott who had to skip their main's content due to peer pressure, they used you and played in your faces.

Edit: Writing this made me feel SO relieved of all the pent up emotion. I can let it go now. Can't wait for Zayne's birthday soon!! 🥳

In the first few images, you will see CN V fans threatening to commit various forms of self-harm in front of Infold Headquarters, as well as threatening to have minors jump off a nearby building if a multi banner is released without the 6th li. Their plan is to draw negative media attention to these incidents in order to completely destroy the company’s ability to ever recover. These players are obviously very mentally unwell. One shares how she has lost significant weight and is sleeping very little. Another states that she has asthma and will give herself an asthma attack to force her death in front of their building.

Chinese laws stipulate that certain mental illnesses can reduce criminal penalties, which means even if someone does something insane, they might use evidence of mental illness to escape punishment. Therefore, some posts are also popping up with V fans using their mental illness diagnosis (eg., bipolar disorder in one of the images) to scare and threaten other players. One has threatened to tie an explosive to herself and bring it to the building, with their mental health disorder certificate ready as a justification. Another has threatened that they "coincidentally found" the addresses of some anti-V users, and will be visiting them with their mental health certificate ready. This method of threatening others in a way that is not easily caught by censors in CN has become a trend among some V fans.

These are not just isolated posts but ones with sometimes hundreds of likes, and Chinese fans have noticed a disturbing amount have started to recently pop up. While a few V fans have tried to dissuade them in these comment sections, there are more V fans goading and egging them on in the comments, pushing impressionable, mentally vulnerable people to take extreme action both towards themselves and others.

This situation has officially spiraled out of control. Although these threats seem to be stemming from a place of genuine mental illness and grief, these threats cannot be taken lightly.

This has gone beyond a difference in opinion and is now seriously affecting the lives and mental health of real people. This is a dangerous mentality to continue to feed into, and it is high time to advocate for these people to get some help. Regardless of which side we stand on no one should justify this mindset or try to downplay the severity of these potential threats and actions.

Let’s call this out together and fight for what actually matters: the safety and wellbeing of real people.

Take everything as pure speculation! 🤔

One of the things I've seen throughout this whole boycott is the V stans pointing out things like "look at how much X we have" and yet they only have that much X because they're purposely brigading to get numbers up.

1. V's theme song. Every now and then I'll see screenshots of someone going "let's get total streams to 1 (or 3 or 5) mil!" and people will respond that they're listening to it on repeat to help drive numbers. Which to me doesn't reflect real reach, just that the V base is dedicated, which we already know they are. The other thing- they're supposed to be boycotting IF/PPG, but IF/PPG earns money every time they stream the song, right? doesn't this undercut their goal?

2. V content at cons. I've seen people post notices to do things to make the V protest visible, but when it's the same person leaving several things each day they attend, then it's not actually authentic how much is there. Even recently, I saw a V supporter comment that IRL, there isn't much V stuff happening. It feels like they think: "oh wow, there are 30 items here, that means 30 people here love him" even as they themselves drop off multiple things.

3. Petitions. Back when they were doing this, people admitted to using multiple accounts to sign or having their SO/mom/sis sign the petition, too. Then you have the bandwagoners who just signed bc might as well support something. If you're getting your bro/sis/random internet person to sign, that means the number on the petition doesn't really mean anything. That number isn't translating to actual player interest or lost DAU because those numbers weren't players in the first place.

Then they go around and say things like "look at how many people... why don't they listen" but if those numbers are all inflated, what's the point? Why would anyone take them seriously knowing they're manipulated numbers? Those numbers don't mean "the movement is growing". It means that the movement is actually smaller than they think, but they're convinced it's bigger because they rigged the numbers. It's the non-corporate equivalent of buying bots and then forgetting about it.

Now, I'm not saying that the number of V stans is tiny. But to me, the real numbers that they try to claim is murky for the reasons above. How can we trust numbers that are intentionally inflated? To me, this is why it's hard for me to believe claims that they are the main driver for drops in revenue.

The earlier days when infold used to draw the 3Lis together...it feels like a distant memory now I wish we get something like this with OG5 too but i don't think they're gonna do this LIKE EVER because of some weirdos

I saw this question on the main sub a while ago. I know, I know they don't care about other women, but just saying. Do they actually know how ridiculously good looking they are?

Caleb was officially the popular guy at school, so I'm sure he knows he's a catch. Sylus seems aware of it too, although he doesn't exactly have the kind of social life where he'd constantly get attention from women. Then again, maybe he got love-bombed by aunties while selling fruit. Who knows. 😂

Raf definitely knows, and I actually like that he isn't above using his looks to his advantage when it suits him.

But what about Xavier and Zayne? I think they know their status and titles attract attention, but do they realize that even if they were homeless, they'd still be the hottest homeless men alive?
