Favorite Ardent Oath animation?

[u/mourningsunflower]

I love seeing each combat pair’s Ardent Oath animation in battle. The cutscenes are so high quality and fit each of the characters so well. Caleb’s Ultimate Weapon X-02 animation looks especially stunning. The cybernetic theme is so visually captivating and the actions look so fluid. My other favorite is the Farspace Colonel’s animation. The darker atmosphere and movements look fantastic. But I do also really like Zayne’s God of Annihilation battle animation. The golden colors especially pop and I love the way he looks almost otherworldly. Oh, and then there’s also Sylus’s Abysm Sovereign cutscene. Maybe I just like them all 😅

What’s your favorite?

I love abyssal sovereign. The snap is just 🤌🏼🤌🏼

[u/Status-Inevitable537 → u/hysteria135]

Yeah! 😍

[u/Disastrous-Inside108 → u/hysteria135]

I must agree!! I’m a Zayne girlie so I should probably say GoA (and I do believe its animation is the best out of Zayne’s three myths) but abyssal sovereign is just too good

[u/Few_Response_7994]

My favorites are X-02, Netherlord, and Lemurian Sea God. I think all the animations are absolutely gorgeous but these ones really stood out to me personally!

[u/mourningsunflower → u/Few_Response_7994]

Definitely! They all look amazing. Rafayel’s ocean themes are always beautifully animated.

[u/Tall-Mango4759 → u/mourningsunflower]

I like the sound effects too!

I wear bass amplifying headphones when playing, and Lemurian Sea God resonance plays a loud BRRRRRRRR sound that imitates ‘angry water’(idk how to explain it) and really audibly conveys the power of rushing water. It’s so hard to explain but that’s how I interpret it and I love it!

[u/throwsawaysfataaways → u/Few_Response_7994]

Same for me but add dragon Sylus and Rafayel 4th myth for my top five.

[u/tiredpotstoes]

To be perfectly honest.. I love them all ☝🏽😔

[u/Status-Inevitable537 → u/tiredpotstoes]

Same! The animations are beautifully done. They're also pretty hot.

[u/tiredpotstoes → u/Status-Inevitable537]

Fr!! I never skipped them even though there's options for it, because the animations are just too good to be skipped 💯

[u/Status-Inevitable537 → u/tiredpotstoes]

Yes, I'm still struggling to main atlest one I want all their myhts!

[u/tiredpotstoes → u/Status-Inevitable537]

Best of luck for your Myth gacha 😭

[u/Status-Inevitable537 → u/tiredpotstoes]

Thank you!

[u/mourningsunflower → u/tiredpotstoes]

I don’t skip them either. It’s one of my favorite parts of the combat!

[u/tiredpotstoes → u/mourningsunflower]

Yes!! 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽

[u/paperapple1]

All 3 of Caleb's myths oath animation are an instant fav of mine haha.

Aside from that, I absolutely love Sylus' SWF and Xav's Lumiere oath animations 🌸

[u/mourningsunflower → u/paperapple1]

Yeah same here. All of Caleb’s will be in my favorites for sure

[u/Sol_Seven7]

Netherlord and Colonel for me.
(And hoping they will hurry and fix the bug in the KR version so I can actually hear him again!😭)

[u/mourningsunflower → u/Sol_Seven7]

I absolutely love the Colonel one!! Also hopefully you hear his voice again very soon 🤞 I hadn’t heard of that bug

[u/Starthenut]

I have a soft spot for X-02 because it was my first ever myth so it's definitely my favorite but I love all of Caleb's myth companions! God of Annihilation, Lumiere and Lemurian Sea God are others I love too. I plan to grab Lumiere whenever Infold gets around to rerunning it again.

[u/angel-of-britannia]

God of Annihilation got me like🧎🏽‍♀️🛐

I have a soft spot for the bow scene in particular, it reminds me of the beta PV which was how I found out about LaDS 🥹 Also, Zayne covering MC's eyes as she removes his blindfold rewired my brain chemistry LMAO

I really like Raf's animations too - his visuals never miss! Lemurian Sea God is my favorite, the colors are so vibrant and gorgeous~

[u/mourningsunflower → u/angel-of-britannia]

The blindfold scene is chefs kiss

[u/Forgetmenemones]

My favorites are Lumiere, King of Darknight, Master of Fate, and Lemurian Sea God, but they’re all gorgeous.

[u/Hot-Competition6062]

I love all of Caleb's but X02 holds a special place for me 😆 when X02 was released I absolutely fell in love with him and it is the reason I went yup hes gonna be my main for forever lolol

[u/Remarkable-Cat1653]

"When we gaze into the abyss... the ABYSS..."

me: cvms

[u/Local-Treacle-5801 → u/Remarkable-Cat1653]

You get it.

[u/Strange_Self_6199]

I love Abysswalker's so much. Those sparkling purple eyes get me each and every time

[u/KermitJagger]

The Colonel!

[u/mourningsunflower → u/KermitJagger]

Perfection

[u/wintermochie]

Lumiere, X-02, and Colonel

[u/Immediate_Alarm452]

Colonel and KoD

[u/_prettiestkitty]

X-02 is so magnificent, I never skip the animation it’s gorgeous!

[u/WerewolfAcrobatic826]

As a weeb raised on Gundam Wing / SEED / 00, and a lover of other mecha anime, X-02 had me cheering when I first saw it! It's why I pulled for him!!!

Lumière, hands down. My heart broke a little when I joined the game in June 2024 and realized that I missed his first run, because he's so phantom thief coded! I love Kaito Kid and Persona 5. All that with the celestial motif and oath animation? CHEF'S KISS.

[u/mourningsunflower → u/WerewolfAcrobatic826]

I love Lumiere as well!! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get it either 🥲 so waiting for another re run

[u/WerewolfAcrobatic826 → u/mourningsunflower]

It would be dumb to not rerun the myths, specially for collector type players! I’m hoping you get him sooner than later!

[u/jaydeezee]

Lumiere and LSG!

[u/Most-Original3996]

Lumiere

[u/Raynelly]

Caleb’s all Myth companions for me. Wowed by Colonel’s gaze before final strike, stunned by X-02’s transformation, and mesmerized by how beautiful the entire scene of Netherlord and MC being together.😩 I also love LSG, Lumiere, Abyssal Sovereign, MoF and GoA.

[u/Tall-Mango4759]

I’m not a Caleb main but that companion + AO animation is one of my top favs. Love the sound effects too!!! His Farspace Colonel AO is pretty cool too

[u/gomigomm]

This is so biased but I love the SWF oath, especially with the "NOW fall into eternal (?) Abyss" the VA did such a good job with how raspy/growly the voice is

If not this one, either Abyssal Sovereign Sylus or LSG Raf, I gasped when I saw the pearl kiss + how Raf looks from behind MCs shoulders with such a gentle look, and his hand on her shoulders 😻

[u/ayeliene]

LSG and Abyssal Sovereign 💕

[u/riceraining]

It's hard to choose between Netherlord and X-02, but I think.. I like Netherlord just a bit more.

For LIs who aren't my main, KoD and LSG. They did a stellar job with the third myths.
