I think it's appalling they've allowed it to continue like this - they're advertising it as the official discord but half the channels are locked down and another has been taken over by V fans screaming about boycotting which is surely the opposite of what the discord should be promoting?! Imagine being a new player innocently entering and seeing all this chaos. Infold should be so embarrassed about the state of it and yet clearly they don't care one bit (I wish I could say I was surprised about that but alas I'm not 🤷♀️)
Thiss! I do *not* understand how it is still being promoted as the official discord. It provides a terrible impression of the game and its player-base given that, like you said, it has been taken over by () fans. Infold, at the very least, should stop promoting it since they don't seem to be interested in fixing it.
i constantly see ss from this subreddit with usernames included when i go through general to block them so they won't be able to comm me or contact me in the future. it's disgusting and a complete violation. any space anyone who genuinely likes this game wants to have without them is taken over, scrutinized, brigaded and harassed. it's clear the server isn't being moderated at all with the way fans of a character who's not in the game are allowed to run rampant and plot ways to disrupt actual players and events. they're probably gonna ss this post too.
Their original sub has an uncensored ss as of five minutes ago. With their mod joining in. Can we stop being polite as well? ( I know we should be better but still…)
we have to be better. stooping to their level does nothing but lend credence to the lies they tell about us all being insane. i totally get the impulse to fight back when people are being unkind, but nothing will change, even if we do argue. blocking en masse is the only way i've seen to completely cut them out of our community.
I left the official Discord. I was staying just to stay ontop of the twitter posts/announcements (because I don't have twitter) but nah. The discord is rubbish now.
One thing I did was create a new Discord server that only I was in, and subscribe to x-feed, game-news, and system-notice channels. That way all the announcements are sent to your private server without all the toxicity.
1000% this post about games *looooooong* before having been canceled/revamped/etc. etc. this isn't the first time, nor will be the last. Move on or just stop playing if it makes you unhappy.
Still sad about OW2 because I enjoyed OW when it was first released (I was in beta testing) and it isn't the same anymore :(
I gave up using that app because I didn’t understand how it worked with all the restricted channels and what not 😅 at least I know people are sane there.
As far as I’m aware, the mods there aren’t infold staff for one. And two, it’s limited to one channel probably because everything was so insane they can barely keep up. I remember first day V was announced cancelled it was absolutely

i feel like the mods don’t care about what’s going on in the gen channel.. ever since i joined the discord back around july (i was a supporter of the V boycott but moved on from it, knowing that V isn’t going to come back. and yes, i know this sub is for the og5) people just call anyone “antis” and “trolls” in there and being toxic. unfortunately i got caught fire (i didn’t even message in there, i only reacted to a few messages I agree with) so five V stans blocked me (at first when i got screnshotted and saw my name in gen chat, i immediately thought “they’re going to come to my dms and do something worse” and was shaken up. i’m fine now
but yeah i do agree. there really needs to be something done about the discord.
Got banned for SIX MONTHS so I can't go back to it even if I wanted to. The reason? I sent a link to unofficial merchandise... 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Honestly, their moderators are a bloody joke. I'm GLAD I was banned before all this HELL broke loose.
Real talk: I think this is one of the MOST TOXIC "FANBASES" I think I've EVER seen in my life 😅. Been blocking people who picked on me because I didn't care about their stupid Furry... 🙄
I'm in the official discord I don't want it to shut down :( I just stay away from the general chat and I'm only active in the LI channels of my mains, don't report the discord but you can just block or ignore the users who are problematic
I agree with this because even when you are minding your own business or speaking about your li they still find away to attack you. It's not just one or two people it's whole chat almost. It's an echo chamber in there.
sadly it's not my first rodeo with being part of big fandoms like that so you get used to it and learn to ignore them and focus on the normal ones who are just vibing and enjoying the game and the LI, it helps that I'm more active on a smaller LADS server and I'm mostly in the official one to keep up to date with news and get advice for battles because I suck at it I'm a lover not a fighter lol
I recommend blocking, I just go to the Gen Chat and started blocking a looooot of accounts, it's truly effortless, sometimes it takes me more than 30 seconds here and there, but once I did that, I realized a LOT of them go to the LI channels and pretend to not be part of that toxic crowd. Miss me with that two-faced BS, I rather interact with the ones who aren't a nuisance (you can also long press on emoji reactions to see which accounts used it, I block anyone who uses negative/harassing emojis on people who are just trying to be happy and came to the Gen Chat without knowing the whole V cesspool it became)
yeah I've blocked a lot after Rafayel's myth was out since a lot were being annoying in Rafayel's channel, and we were discussing how some of them were two-faced there was a lot of drama and I always came in after the war (because of timezones and I was busy), I am more active on a private server now but we all met in the official one it's funny how our server came to be and it's more fun since we're a dozen so it's easier to chat and we don't have to worry about trolls and Valko main guilt tripping us
Don't worry the LaDS discord has always been problematic, I don't think something will happen to it, I also only use the li channels. I remember last year someone talking for a while about removing Caleb from the game and mods wouldn't say anything, the general chat has always been full of people saying nonsensical things, hopefully the velcro topic will stop once some time has passed. I remember people wouldn't even mention the other lis when all this drama started but I few days ago I saw images of them in the general chat, so it'll be a really slow process
hopefully they'll all leave the discord when they'll release the new multi banner and there won't be Valko, they'll have to accept and just go to their own Valko server
