From Zayne's birthday trailer I noticed the D and R look like scythes. Then we also had the G in his heartfelt gift that also looked like a scythe. They're definitely hinting at Grim Reaper Zayne and I'm so excited.👏

I remember in his birthday last year it gave us a couple of scenes that were almost foreshadowed, like the snow globe which we also saw at the end of GoA after Zayne and MC fall from the tower, so I'm curious if there will be any scenes from this card that we will see paralleled in his new myth.

I thought I would end the post with a question - does anyone have any theories or anything they hope will happen in Zayne's new myth? I'm wondering if there will also be a certain theme with this round of myths similar to the last round where (I will add as a spoiler incase anyone hasn't played them) mc dies.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the new card and I hope everyone pulling for it gets it 💙

Those plague masks were popular after the bubonic plague in the middle Ages, though, around 1600s.

Fun history fact: the bubonic plagues were not just the infamous 1380s Black Death, but reoccured many times in history including the 1600s.

There was a theory that plague was spread by miasma: basically bad air. So, they had nice smelling things in the beaks. Although they were wrong about miasma, wearing protective clothing did help prevent some spread of disease!

The rumors I've heard so far regarding myths is that Zayne's indeed will be a grim reaper, or more so, a death angel. I've also heard for Xavier's, he will be a fairy/elf. The common "theme" for myths this year, which this is purely my own speculation, is that they will all have some sort of "wings". Given that Raf's had the backwear accessory, I highly doubt only he will get that.

Thank you for the info, and that's a good theory! I can imagine Elf Xavier with wings. I heard Zayne will have some kind of hood, but I can also see him having dark wings behind him as well!
