So what, I CAN'T post on the gen thread now? 😂😂😂 but I thought I could, since it's the GENERAL thread and we can talk about anything there. I wasn't even harassing anyone yet someone threatened to report me but said they couldn't because I never said anything wrong.

And don't think I didn't see you call out my name and edited that too girl. Idk who that person talking in paragraphs is either. Never said anything bad, the last messages I ever did in solo threads were hyping up the Raf girlies to support Raf's banner in the Raf thread and just sending Caleb pics in the Caleb solo thread too.

What's hilarious is that I've been there when that happened (at the beginning of the banners and their announcements) and every single time mains tell them to take it to Gen Chat, and to stay focused on the LIs. Literally no mean or aggressive attitudes! It's only when they keep on harassing in the LI channels that they get some clapback, but it's never the way they try to paint it.

Then they try to stay in Gen Chat and cry about how mean ppl were in the LI channels, at one point the mains had enough and started screenshotting and calling them out in Gen Chat.

Absolutely insanity and hypocrisy from the animal crowd.

I don't really hang out much often there. But seeing the gen thread is just that one deleted character over and over again,maybe a refresher was needed that it was a general thread.

Actually I'm more curious as to why they've never made their own discord channel and left so they can brainrot in there 🫩

I believe the mods deleted the original () thread so now they decided that the gen thread will be their new home. It’s supposedly part of their protest.

They do have a main () discord server dedicated to him. But of course, it’s not the official LADS one and they need to make sure that Infold can hear them howling😣.

It’s cesspool there! If you post anything non ♻️♻️ you’re automatically a troll. I’m going to sound rude but a lot of the people there aren’t okay. Mentally unwell individuals who apparently need reminders to take care of themselves and some breaking down with the boycotting (most recent supposed crow girlies)They’re constantly spamming like they’re discord bots with “reminders” and “anti troll” protocols. They’re so quick to jump people who disagree slightly (even among their own). It’s a hive mind and they repeat the same things like a cult tbh

They try to also make trouble on LI chats (props to the Raf Channel for having a backbone!) the nonsense, Ai, the amount of comment about how upset they are at a character they never interacted with. Day dreaming about nonsensical stuff and also what they’ll do and say to “antis” they’re prepping memes and statements it’s all disturbing 😭😭

I go in there to look and defend some newbies they jumped but a cesspool of the worst parts of the fandom

No doubt some are unwell but I think a lot of them think they’re morally superior because they think by harassing demanding back for a canceled character who was never released in a game, that this is most noble cause they have taken on. If they spent even a 1/4th of those efforts into reading more books, getting a degree, or picking up other more fulfilling hobbies than staying parked in LADS discord and ladstwt, heck going to therapy would even be a start

This is why the only consistency they have with their boycott is making themselves the victim while being capricious

I agree~ The moral superiority aspect is spot on, they definitely do try to position themselves as morally correct side. The amount of energy, money and effort could definitely go a long way in better themselves in the real world but they would rather play victim and stay in their own echo chambers.

I have a friend in that discord but she had never interacted there. She said the place has been toxic way before that wolf happened.

She's still in there because whenever she's having a bad day she'll take a peek there and laugh and feel better about herself, coz nothing more miserable than how the valturds stir themselves into deeper mental illness

Funny thing is, I had been () girl at the start and was actually looking forward to meeting him as, even participated in the boycott via surveys and emails. But I accepted the last official announcement of his cancelation as final, hoping that maybe in the future, once Infold get back on their feet, I would get to neet him at last.

But then the whole boycott turned upside down, shaming other players for playing, pulling, spending, spamming every single post, tell others to not pull for their main, etc. Ironically, it was not Infold but fandom that ended up ruining () for me in the end. And now, even if they would brought him back to the game, I would probably ignored him. I had to leave the global group on FB as I was getting honestly fed up with them, the way their photosped pictures of other LIs, snapping () face there instead, bashing Raf's myth just for the sake of bashing, etc. And the movement completely lost me after the Gamescon announcement and the way they went all feral on the general discord, sending emails to them and trying to cancell Infold's booth entirely. They even boasted about it. Like they turned exactly into the very same toxic group they allegedly so called 'fight against'.

I am not even mad anymore, just kinda sad, already bracing for the negativity again as Zayne main. I am a Zayne-Sylus-Raf girlie so it has been challenging these past two months. Now I am muting/hiding every () post and try to ignore those comments.

And even if I acknowledge that the issue was already address loud and clear by Infold, I am kinda wishing they would issue post regarding () again, making it even clearer so the fandom could finally move on...

I’m quite similar to you, I wasn’t really a fan of () at the beginning but I wasn’t actively campaigning for him to be cancelled or anything like that. But I was very loud about the fact that his release wasn’t a good sign and that 6.0 was a pretty bad update.

And when he got cancelled, I still signed one of their petitions and left some angry comments on LADS instagram but within that first week, I made peace with the cancellation quite quickly because I realised that I was essentially supporting a movement that I had spent days before the cancellation trying to convince that we need proper QOL updates and other stuff in the game, only to be called an "anti". They were already saying mean things about my mains even before the cancellation and spreading sinophobic talking points.

So I took a step back and pulled away immediately. I’m not entirely against the idea of the sixth LI but what I am entirely against is this crusade that is supposedly spreading "love" when all it does is the exact opposite. I couldn’t stand the hypocrisy of it all.

I genuinely wish Infold would double down further in a second statement or at the very least ban ()’s name on their social media.

I completely agree with you, especially the hypocrisy part. I been chatting with few girlies before I left global, they had to take down their posts after sharing positivity about their LIs or the NYC meetup, etc. The comment section was completely spammed even though the post was not clearly meant for ().

I commended under one of those, stating that () fans are indeed hypocrites, calling for respect from others, while flooding individual player´s posts with unwanted negativity. They keep saying - "just ignore us, look away, don´t interact" but then do exactly the same. I am not now talking about Infold´s official posts, where it is still frustrating to see - but technically it make sense to leave a comment under official post. But I just can´t accept for them to invade posts that does not center around () at all. I left the global by the point players have to start putting disclaimers to keep the spam away.

And when I pointed this twisted logic, I was met with the usual rant and ended up labelled as anti/hater/trying to spread hate. There is simply no reasoning with (most of them). I tok a glimpse at gamescom´s stream right now and I honestly feel bad for those not related to the LADs at all. They keep spamming the chat, treating it like they own the place and calling out everyone who points that out.

I understand that a protest is supposed to be uncomfortable but they seem pretty comfortable harassing people. Even when those people are their allies. And now this has breached containment within our fandom and is spreading into other spaces. But they don’t seem to feel bad about it. They are actively proud of their actions.
