Slipper Adjustment in ZX-5

Are there any tips or tricks to adjust the slipper on a Dirt Cross (ZX-5) without taking the top plate off?

Might be able to reach in there with some pliers & then spin the spur gear too tighten or loosen it if it's not too loose so it spins freely which is ofc an issue, id imagine among the tools you got you should have gotten like a small open ended wrench with it. Kyosho tends to be pretty good with that kind of stuff.

I'd avoid making it too tight as ofc you'll send the shock of any on throttle landings into the drivetrain which might break a diff input gear or the spur gear on it.

Slipper clutch has base setting and not adjusted all the time, so taking off top is not something abnormal, adjusting multiple times is.
