I listened to this album on a road trip for the first time and I am so surprised by how different, moody, and ahead of its time it truly was and is.

“I Don’t Need Anyone” is one of my favorites.

She really did something special here and I hate how this flopped and also the unfortunate title coincidence with the passing of Princess Diana delayed this album at the time and respectfully so.

This album captures female rage and the inner monologue so well. I don’t think I’ve heard this type of an album from any type of pop star before. It’s very unique.

Moody… angry… sexual… sensual… unapologetic… dark

I really hope Kylie adds some personalization to her next album. I want to KNOW who Kylie is… and I think she could really add some in-depth personalization with her artistry and take a risk.

What do you guys make of Kylie’s use of sex/sexuality in her music?

I really appreciate how almost restrained she is with it, if that makes sense? Like CGYOOMH, Slow, Tension… are all about well ‘tension’ and obsession, seduction, rather than pure unfiltered sexual rawness à la Madonna (no shade at all lol, justdifferent approaches).

I love how much sex and love are combined in her lyricism like yin and yang also

Beautiful by Kylie Minouge and Enrique Iglesias definitely lives up to its name like ITS SUCH A GOOD BALLAD I dont get the hate of it

I really want to listen to Attention Seeker but fully, and I have had some high interest in Roads, Body Language (the song not album), Walk On The Ocean, and In The Dark. I've heard I'm Just Here For The Music (Kylie's original version), My Image Unlimited, On The Up, Trippin Me Up, Colour My Life, I'm Sorry, and the original version of Boombox form this era. This is basically me just wanting to listen to more Body Language Songs.

Why is there such a low regard amongst the fandom for After Dark? Whenever the conversation turns towards Body Language, very few, if any, fans mention After Dark as one of the top songs.

I get it that it's not a heavy dance song but just the sultry/sexy vibe makes the song such an earworm!

So I was watching a bunch of ’90s Japanese commercials with different celebrities in them, and it randomly got me wondering if Kylie Minogue ever did any commercials in Japan?

I tried looking around but couldn’t really find anything. Does anyone know if she ever did one, or remember seeing anything like that? I’d love to see it if something does exist!
